new house cards



I wanted to make a card for my co-worker who just moved into a new house and she loves to paint.  So with Lynn's guest challenge over at Do More With Less (recycling is the theme), I picked up the large Restoration Hardware catalogue that arrived at work and started looking for inspiration.  I found it on page 308.  The first card uses PTI Daily Designs sentiment and the second one uses Unity Life Is Fabulous sentiment, that way I could play along with the Friends With Flair crew.   And since the fabulous Emily has a moving challenge on her blog, these cards are perfect :)  (I'll send you the second one if you give me your new address-- hint, hint).

Materials: PTI Daily Designs sentiment, Unity Life Is Fabulous sentiments, Restoration Hardware catalogue, vellum, Core'dations card stock, Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 1, PTI double banner die, Cuttlebug Just My Type embossing folder, Versafine black ink

    Oh, way to recycle, Erin!! Those paint cans make a wonderful background, and the vellum over top looks so cool. Very creative!

    I was looking & looking trying to see what the background paper was (before I read)- and I think the paint cans are SO FUN for a moving card!!! Nice combo of challenges too!! ;)
