YCU Blog Hop

Welcome to another Young Crafters Unite blog hop!  This time around the theme is masculine cards and I decided to take the CASE Study card and turn it into a little guy's card.  My young helper told me I needed a road in my card, or else it looked like my car was flying, I'm starting to think the boy's got a point.  But back to the blog hop...  You should've come via Isha's blog.  For a complete list of blogs go back to Young Crafters Unite, the posts will be up between 12:01 am and noon, so check back at noon to see the entire hop.  Prizes to be had....  so make sure you comment along the hop.

And since this is the "Young Crafters" blog hop my little man decided to play along.  It's suppose to be a bookmark, not exactly sure what the circle is for, but who am I to squash creativity?  Mr. Ben is a comment junkie, so please make sure you include his project in your comments, he asks all day, "Did anyone else comment?  Did I win?"  His masculine touch was the rocket ship, so he says.

Next up on the hop is the talented Marie.

Materials: Waltzingmouse Stamps Pint Sized Wonders, PTI cloud die, Spellbinders label die, water color paper, PTI kraft card stock, Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink, water color pencils, white gel pen, black marker, Versafine black ink

Mr. Ben---AWESOME projects, dude!!! LOVE your bookmark with the rocket and sparkly bat!! COOL!

hee. I didn't think your car looked like it was flying until I read that Ben thought so!! I love it though- and the cloud in the corner is so fun!

Ben, I would adore using that crazy cute but oh-so-masculine bookmark you created!! Your mom may not get the circle at the end, but I do. ALL bookmarks have a pouf or a pom-pom on the end, and your circle is a great masculine alternative!!

And, hey, Erin, your masculine card is awesome, too!! ;) Love the window and that fun smiley guy.

Great card. And he's right - it does look like it's flying. But I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it. :)

And what a fantastic bookmark! Love the rocket ship.

My boys used to participate in an online kids craft challenge and they used to love to look at comments on their creations!

Aw, so sweet, Erin! I love the window on your card. Tell Ben his bookmark is fabulous! The circle dangles out of the book so he can easily spot his spot. I love the sparkly bat! ;)

I love Ben's bookmark - I hope he's got it tucked into a book by now? The embossing is great, and the circle makes a great tassel to hang outside the book :)
