wine label and spiffy scooter card

Happy Monday!  Two projects to share today, a wine label (imagine that ladies) and a card.  I wanted to play along with some of my favorite challenges, so I'm multi-tasking (imagine that ladies).  First up, I was inspired by the CASE Study muse Aga.  Yvonne's project on the Let's Get Trendy Now woodgrain card used her Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder and then added distressed inks on top, so I gave it a go and love the way it looks.  I added a doily to mimic the lacy ribbon on Aga's card, which works great for the "Doilies" day on Let's Get Trendy Now and the Moxie Fab World Challenge.

And my next card is an ode to Ms. Karen.  Why?  I won the Skipping Stones Grunge stamp set from her, she gave me the Spiffy Scooters Paper Smooches set, I bought her new Inspired by Aubrey The Craft's Meow set and she did the sketch for Artful Delight, where we're about to be DT buds.  And no card is complete without a challenge, or two...  so I've used this week's Play Date Cafe colors and the Artful Delight sketch.  There's still time to play along with the Artful Delight crew, you could win the June card kit, and if you know Leeanne it's bound to be packed full of fabulous goodies.

When you showcase your wine label and Aga's card side by side, I can really see the inspiration, but it is really cool to see your own style as well! And wow on the scooter card! Love the patterns, and especially the pattern going up on the side. Very very neat!
