happy birthday tin

Today's 365 Cards theme is "flags" and I decided to go for the banner variety of flags and decorate a gift tin.  I've used this week's Play Date Cafe as my color choice.  This case had been floating around in our junk drawer for ages and I'm so excited it got a new lease on life.  Because I'm upcycled the container I'm gong to enter this in LESSology "it's a wrap".

And next up, there's a blog party on Waltzingmouse, this month's hop is "Fall", so I've got for some colorful leaves and a Happy Thanksgiving wine label (because who goes to a Thanksgiving dinner without a bottle of wine, and now I wont have to make one 2 minutes before we walk out the door, how organized of me).

Materials: Tin: PTI Make a Wish Additions, SRM Sticker, My Favorite Things banner die, Studio Calico paper, Cosmo Cricket Paper, scraps from Artful Delight August card kit, Twinery charcoal twine, Tim Holtz distress ink seedless perserves and tumbled glass, recyled tin

Wine Label: Waltzingmouse Stamps Big Blooms and Say It Loud Winter Holiday, May Arts woven burlap ribbon and natural string, PTI kraft card stock, Verasfine black ink, Tim Holtz distress inks festive berries, mustard seed and ripe persimmons and antique linen, PTI edgers die, Fiskars corner rounder, EK Success 1 3/4th inch circle punch
