It's time for another PTI blog hop and this month Nichole has challenge us to "Felt and Fabric" wrap. I decided to use the technique from the PTI Make it Monday last month with Fabric die cuts, so I used some fall themed fabric I bought and cut it out with the PTI chevron dies. Not felt in this project, but I love the idea of taking fabric and added a bit more texture to your project. I added some May Arts woven burlap ribbon and string burlap and used the PTI foodie fun sentiment. Moxie Fab World is having a "Jars of Joy" challenge so I'm going to enter this in that challenge too. So what's in the jar? Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes. Here are a few photos of the project... I gave the jar to my co-worker while they were still warm and told her to consume immediately. My little helper was so cute when we realized that we had more tomatoes then could fit in the strainer, he replied with a note of seriousness, "Don't worry Mom, I'll go get us another bowl" and returned with two additional bowls.
Slow Roasted Tomatoes: line baking dish with parchment paper and assemble a selection of fresh tomatoes, add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and a spoonful of sugar and add fresh basil and garlic. Bake in oven at 350 for at least an hour, or better for an hour and a half. Consume. Great to freeze in mini bags and add to anything and everything.
