Happy Monday blog friends... I inked up several pieces of paper with the new Hero Arts tweed background (see yesterday's post for a few other cards) and thought it would be fun to use the bold orange for a background. My card uses the Play Date Cafe colors and the CASE Study Challenge card for my inspiration. I was also inspired by a card I made back in September (it's a bit of a loose take, but it's what sent me down this path).
And I made another chalk board card, this time for the CAS-ual Fridays "Thanks" challenge. "Less Is More" is also doing a B&W with a touch of color challenge this week. Wishing everyone a fabulous week.

The tweed background is beautiful, but I am absolutely loving how you're rocking the chalkboard technique. The big bold thank you is awesome.
We seem to have seen a lot of chalkboard technique this week and this is another terrific example!
Thanks so much Erin.

Both cards are awesome, Erin! Love love the chalkboard art card. Thanks for playing along with us @ CAS-ual Fridays:)
There's that tweed pattern again Erin - love it in the orange and it really sets the blue flowers off. Great use of the chalkboard technique too. Thanks for joining us at CASE Study and CAS-ual Fridays over the holidays :)
Erin, these are such beautiful cards! Your blue flowers are stunning. Thank you for playing along with The Play Date Cafe!
So good to see you playing both challenges, as always. :) I love the blue of those flowers in contrast with the red tweed background, and the chalkboard effect looks fantastic with the bit of chartreuse peeking out from behind.
