May Arts/Little Yellow Bicycle and Xyron Hop

Welcome to a special May Arts/Little Yellow Bicycle and Xyron hop, three great companies, amazing goodies and lots of inspiration.  Hop along, all week, leave some love on the various blogs for your chance to win.

For my project I upcycled a vase.  To start I put a piece of May Arts faux burlap ribbon through the Xyron sticker maker and then adhered the ribbon directly to the vase (super simple).  I then used some fun Little Yellow Bicycle die cuts and burlap stickers to create a label.  I loved the fact that I could stick the die cut from LYB through the Xyron sticker maker and directly add it onto the vase.  Since I wanted to use ribbon flowers, I added a piece of LYB paper to the inside of the vase, since I knew there wouldn't be any water in the project.

For my ribbon flowers I punched out a circle and then ran the circle through the Xyron sticker maker.  I  used May Arts chevron twill ribbon and faux burlap and with each flower started in the center on the adhesive circle and twisted the ribbon around and around till I'd covered the whole circle.  I then added some dots to the center and had a few flowers that would never fade.

For my card I used the Xyron sticker maker to create some fun banners with LYB paper and May Arts chevron twill ribbon and hung them on a piece of May Arts burlap string.  To add a little extra dimension to the LYB sticker I created my own foam dot with some extra packaging material, just ran the cardboard through the Xyron sticker maker, going to keep that idea in mind for the day when I run out of foam dots!

Now hop along to the other May Arts DT, Emily and Christina, LYB and Xyron and leave some comment love for your chance to win.
