I have joined in on the fun at Julia's
Stamping Ground What's On Your Work Desk Wednesday in the past, and while I skipped last week I thought I'd come back and join the crew this week. The above photo was taken the other week, I was on a scrap organization mission. The reality is that the desk currently looks like the photo below. But at least now we all know that there is indeed a desk underneath the mess. The scraps are a bit more organized, but since I keep making lots and lots of cards I haven't been very good at keeping up with the organization (surprise, surprise!).
Very tidy! Love your stamp storage :)
ReplyDeletesuper neat!!
ReplyDeleteGreat desk, I am glad the "real" one is the one that looks used!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've had a card making/stamping marathon on your desk. And I love all the "stash" you have stashed away under your table. It all looks pretty organized, too. Happy WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteWow neat desk and organised puts me to shame this week!

Me again. Nope, it makes me feel even hotter when I think about your lovely winter weather. Would take cold over heat any day. You can always put something on, but there's only so much you can take off. Please include a few photos of the cold next week :>)

Reassuring shots of the work in progresss desk Erin! I love that shiny red tin you've got punches in. Be sure to report in on how you find your scrap system works (or desn't) for you - always on the look out for a better idea than I currently use!
ReplyDeleteI just love love that stamp storage space! It's all so clear.

Go Erin ... an example to us all :0)
ReplyDeleteErin - do you think there is a person out there that could train me to be a 'scrap tamer'?
ReplyDeleteI can't throw them away but they are soooo out of control they scare me....
I approach them with my chair lifted out in front of me to hold them back as I gingerly open the drawer.....
oh they never stay tidy for long, that would be no fun at all
ReplyDeleteVery neat desk and a very creative desk on the 2nd pic, you have had a card marathon, wish I could do that but I seem to make one and then get side tracked. Have a good day. Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteWow that first photo is blinding!! The second is scary and I love that you have your scraps in binders, now that's true organization at it's finest!

When I saw the first photo I was thinking "this isn't a real crafter's desk", then I read, and scrolled down and there was the sign of a real crafter! Fab!
ReplyDeleteTracy :)x
Great workspace, love it best when it's messy...more to snoop at!!

Amy
Much prefer the messy workspace - lots more creativity to snoop at! x
ReplyDeleteI do save allll my scraps too, I have my folders with those plastic sleeves to hold the papers so the scraps go in with them, I used to try and put the scraps back with their main sheet of backing paper, but then I could never find it, so they are now in together, all muddled...but the idea is a good one! and one day, I will sort them all out. Love your work space and your stamp shelf, have a great WOYWW...sorry I mean Friday...I'm a slow typer!!
ReplyDelete(Lyn)
oooh love the way you store your stamps so quick and easy to find!
