a few cards

One day at a time...  hang in there folks.  I've been posting cards over on my Instagram feed, but I've got a few cards to link up to current challenges, so I'm just going to add them all here.  Dust off the ol blog for a moment.  My first card is for the Hero Arts encouragement challenge-- I used a Hero Arts background and a technique that Jennifer McGuire did a video on awhile back... I used a Reverse Confetti sentiment and MFT dies.

This card is for the current Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash challenge-- spring/easter... I know someone has a birthday in April...

This is for the MFT Birthday Card challenge to use flowers, I combined a Concord & 9th flower stamp with all MFT goodies....   (actually it's hard to see, but I do have an embossing folder from Tim Holtz in there too).

Fusion Card challenge is Birthday cake and I pulled out a seriously old wooden stamp for the birthday cakes (Stamp Up 2003) with a Papertrey Ink sentiment.

Playing along with the current Fusion Card Challenge inspiration... I paired some Cosmo Cricket paper (yes ~amy~ and Jen you can actually use your stash), a Echo Park sentiment, a Ranger embossing stitching and some vellum.  Happy Monday!

Playing along with the Fusion Card Challenge, both of these cards were inspired by both the theme and the sketch.  Hope everyone is having a lovely Labor Day weekend (I'm busy with LOTS of campers).

3 coffee cards

Life begins after coffee.... yes ma'am.  I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with these three cards, all inspired by various challenges.  The first card uses the sketch from Fusion Card Challenge.  The second card is for the August PTI Blog Hop and the third card is for the Ellen Huston August Challenge-- my first time playing with alcohol inks.

Happy Monday crafty peeps!   Quick card to play along with this week's PTI Make It Monday- b/c it's a goal I can accomplish!  There are still lingering to dos from taking time off last month that are taking up space in my head, so let's just make a card, set the positive energy and charge on to Monday!  I used washi tape to create my mask-- so it's a bit crooked, but that's the way it works.  The flower is from a coffee PTI stamp set, the cup from Technique Tuesday and the sentiment from Verve Stamps, so it's a happy combo of goodies.  My second card uses the sketch from Fusion Challenge- I love the Kelly Purkey sentiment, which I paired with the Fun Stampers Journey coffee cup.  There will most likely be more than one cup of coffee in my day.

If flowers could hug....

Playing along with the Fusion Challenge... been trying to come up with the right card (or cards) for a friend's mom who's been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer... there really are no right words, but I'll start here.....   I've paired the Ellen Hutson sentiment with a Concord & 9th flower and a combo of Spellbinders, MFT dies and a Lil Inker background die.

The Fusion Challenge sketch got me thinking about things with wheels.... since my life is currently all campground all the time.... I went with a motorhome card...  Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend.

Happy Saturday.... I should really motivate over to the campground, been at home tackling some cleaning projects (oh fun!).  I used the CAS(E) this sketch as my source of inspiration for the card.  My second card is for the Fusion Card Challenge, using all new goodies from Verve Stamps (so sad they're closing, but wish Julie well).

Happy Saturday... who's up for another blog post with way too many coffee cards?  I'm obsessively playing along with the Spring/Summer Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog hop...  and I'll see if I can come back and edit the post with details about all the various companies and goodies I've used, but being a campground owner, I have got to get to work for this crazy busy holiday weekend.  So, enjoy all the coffee crafty fun....  The first card is inspired by the sketch for the Fusion Card Challenge.

Happy Thursday... playing along with the current Fusion Challenge, I went literal.  And I'm okay with being the boss... sometimes it's hard, but on a whole I get so much satisfaction out of what I do that I can take the bad with the good.

Happy Saturday crafty peeps!  We are having the craziest winter weather here- definitely a bit of rain, sunshine, hail and snow.   I am procrastinating from cleaning... so here are three cards based on 3 different challenges.  The first card is for the Fusion Challenge, I used both the sketch and inspirational photo.  My second card is for the Viva la Verve Sketch.  And my third card is for CAS(E) this sketch.  Happy St. Patrick's Day-- while I'm not currently planning on anything, here's a list of things to do in our area.
