Inspired By Challenge... love that I saw the nautical theme and went coffee... but can't you see those candles as coffee cups? I used some printed burlap, May Arts burlap string, Neat and Tangled coffee cup, Papertry Ink tag dies and sentiment and a MFT square die out of vellum. My second card was a failed attempt at this week's CAS(E) this sketch.... so I'm just leaving it... and the sentiment is from Kelly Purkey's shop about introverts, but I think it works for the need for time in the woods....

Hello Wednesday! I'm going camping today and couldn't be more excited (the only draw back to owning a campground is that you don't get many opportunities to camp in the summer). Since my boys are obsessed with their hammocks I thought I'd make a card that kept that in mind, so I cut a piece of May Arts elastic to make it look like a hammock, I don't know... do you think it works? Playing along with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge.

Hello Monday! This week's PTI fun is Create with Us and I CASEd Laurie's release day card. I used the PTI stencil and some embossing paste to create the background. Hope everyone's week starts out on the right foot....

Hello... Sundays.. it's a whirlwind in my world... spent my day cleaning up a campground. But, stopping... and wanted to share these two cards. Both cards are for the MFT Sketch challenge. The top card combines a PTI flower with MFT dies and a background stamp and a piece of May Arts ribbon. The second card uses the Altenew Inspirational challenge for the colors (although my green is the wrong shade). I paired Altenew stamps with MFT dies (including a fun background on the vellum with a stitching die) and another piece of May Arts ribbon.
And one final flower card... playing along with the Where Creativity Meets C9 "Anything Goes" with this card. I used the Concord & 9th flower set with an Ellen Hutson sentiment.

Happy Saturday crafty friends... I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog this morning with the top card-- seriously, the Kelly Purkey sentiment is so perfect. I used MFT stamps and dies to play along with their color challenge. And my second card, keeping with the coffee theme (yes I should go back to making camping cards), pairs the CAS(E) this Sketch and the Where Creativity Meets C9 (Anything Goes) challenge. And my final card is for the CASology Sunbeam challenge. I colored some embossing paste with a Tim Holtz stencil to create that look-- might try that again.

Happy Monday crafty peeps! Quick card to play along with this week's PTI Make It Monday- b/c it's a goal I can accomplish! There are still lingering to dos from taking time off last month that are taking up space in my head, so let's just make a card, set the positive energy and charge on to Monday! I used washi tape to create my mask-- so it's a bit crooked, but that's the way it works. The flower is from a coffee PTI stamp set, the cup from Technique Tuesday and the sentiment from Verve Stamps, so it's a happy combo of goodies. My second card uses the sketch from Fusion Challenge- I love the Kelly Purkey sentiment, which I paired with the Fun Stampers Journey coffee cup. There will most likely be more than one cup of coffee in my day.

Playing along with the Fusion Challenge... been trying to come up with the right card (or cards) for a friend's mom who's been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer... there really are no right words, but I'll start here..... I've paired the Ellen Hutson sentiment with a Concord & 9th flower and a combo of Spellbinders, MFT dies and a Lil Inker background die.
