This month's PTI Blog Hop has an inspiration photo (which definitely stumped me for awhile), but I used the PTI Ombre Builders for the background tag to use inspiration from the photo. But life is all about coffee, right? My sentiment is Verve stamps, PTI coffee mug, My Favorite Things tag dies, May Arts ribbon, PTI coverplate for the misted chevron... Okay, off and running, can't wait to see what everyone created, but my blog hopping might have to wait till after I tackle Mount Laundry at the motel.

Follow your dreams.... happy Monday crafty friends. This week's PTI Make It Monday is a cool technique of using your die cuts with your stamps. I used a Simon Says hexagon banner die cut and my PTI Ombre Builder stamp to create this fun background on the PTI tag. I used two different PTI stamps to channel my vintage camper love and 3 different May Arts ribbons. Have I mentioned before that we're building a campground? Follow me along on Instagram. Okay, back to my regularly schedule Monday agenda.

A CAS tag inspired from an old Tag You're It Challenge, I love finding inspiration out in blogland, helps get me through these dry spells where I'm "too busy" to make the time to create (which is silly, I enjoy the crafting time, I need to make the time, even in 10 minute intervals). And this card is for last week's CAS(E) This Sketch, but oops, missed the deadline. But since the only stamp on the card is Paper Smooches sentiment, I'll play along with the Paper Smooches SPARKS anything goes challenge this week (the flowers are a piece of paper). You can find what I've been doing to fill my time on my various Instagram accounts (motel and campground) or my work blog, promise all is well....

Hello crafty friends! Not sure what I've been up to the last 2 weeks, but obviously slacking on sharing crafty fun. I've been to Lake Tahoe, the County Fair, the river, the campground and lots of works... I made these three cards for my card making class on Wednesday.
Set up and ready to go....

Happy Monday crafty friends, a super quick mini notebook for this week's PTI Make It Monday. I used a DCWV notepad, a few PTI stamps, Twinery twine, PTI chevron and hello die cuts. And then handed the notepad to my hubby and said, "Here's a present." Below is a wine bottle tag I made for a dinner date last night. Love that a simple tag can use 4 different May Arts ribbons! Okay, off to tackle the day... I did wake up dreaming of camping, but the reality is really just going to be a lot of laundry at the motel.

Happy Saturday friends! Thanks ~amy~ for the shout out to the new Pinterest Inspired Challenged, I used the Lab Partners graphic to make a simple thank you card (WMS sentiment, PTI flowers).
And this tag was a procrastinating project the other day inspired by Jocelyn's tag over at Altenew using a Hero Arts flower, Paper Smooches sentiment, Lawn Fawn cherons and May Arts ribbon.

Welcome to another Tag You're It Challenge, who's surprised I made a coffee card? I'd love to see how Anja's fun card inspires you. TGIF. And if you're "local" and want to win a cup of coffee, check out my latest work blog.

My friend Tracey is the Muse over at Muse Club and so I made a tag, I cannot remember the last time I inked up this PTI penguin... thanks for the inspiration. My penguin would like to come over for a drink, he didn't have any to scale... It of course is hot here in California... sending cool vibes to you guys this fine Wednesday. My other news is that I managed to find the surface of my craft desk, amazing, it was there the whole time!

I have a few projects to share, there's a train of thought between them all, but I'll spare you the non-linear agenda. The first project is for Jen's Blogiversary, prompted by ~amy~'s project at the beginning of the month (can you believe I've been such a slacker that I made this tag and then forgot to post it?). Here is a link to the original tag that Jen made that I CASEd.
And since Jen's project was based on last month's Tim Holtz 12 Tags challenge, I got inspired to play along with the July tag.
And for my final project (the non-linear train of thought has to do with ~amy~ and tags) is a card for the latest Paper Smooches SPARKS sketch challenge. Sending this off to my college roommate who just had surgery for breast cancer-- look, no pink! There is a lot of fabulous May Arts ribbon on this post, can I tell you that every time I look at my ribbon collection I smile.... (and it's a bit of a mess and it still makes me happy). So there you go, many projects that have been waiting in the wings, my sense of completion that I actually posted these before the challenge deadlines, woo hooo!

Happy Monday! Back in the grove of things over here, so here's a card to play along with the new PTI Make It Monday Challenge, texture kissing stamping. On the smaller cup I used a small PTI woodgrain stamp and on the larger cup I used the Hero Arts chevron background stamp. Fun to think that my already nice sized coffee stamp collection could mix it up a bit with this technique. Okay, off to do all those other things I'm suppose to do on Monday mornings...
