I've got a series of thank you cards to share today, so thankful... (for my family, for the yummy May Arts ribbon on these projects, for the inspiring art in my children, for my blog friends who are seriously the nicest people in the world, for my neighbor who commisioned me to make all these cards)
I started with the intention of playing along with the Waltzingmouse Blog Party, this month's theme is gratitude. I stamped the Big Blooms leaves onto Hero Arts designer paper and added some color with distress ink and perfect pearls. I used the WMS Sketch Challenge for this card. But after I'd cut out all the leaves I decided to make a few more cards, so I went looking for some other sketch challenges.
This one uses this week's Retro Sketches.
This one uses CAS(E) this sketch.
And this one uses this week's PTI Make It Monday "faux pocket" challenge. I had an extra tag from my thankful tree May Arts project (click here to see the final result) so I added the leave and some more woven burlap ribbon and burlap string. Which works great for the Moxie Fab World Challenge. If you made it this far, congrats! And all of these cards work well for the Simon Says Stamps "Thank You" challenge. Now we're off to sit in the rain at the local supermarket for the Cub Scouts "Scouting for Food" food drive.
