Coffee Love



This morning's PTI Make It Monday is about decorating a pillow box... so I whipped this together (instead of packing my lunch for work).  I've used the PTI Background Basics stripes with the Pretty Peonies frame and the Verve Better with You sentiment and coffee rings.  Tied up together with May Arts woven burlap ribbon and burlap string and presto!  So I take a lot of pictures (laughing because this is such an understatement) for my work blog and yesterday I had a coffee with a friend and took the photo below.  I don't usually mix my artistic agendas (crafty and phtotography), and I'm not 100% sure this one works.. but I'll send it the friend who's coffee I photographed.

    The photo is great, and I love the photo card! And I have to say, skipping making lunch was worth it--your pillow box is fantastic. I haven't looked at the MIM, and I first thought your picture was the PTI inspiration picture. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense, but it's fabulous!

    Oh the photo is so perfect with your pillow box!! Love the colors, diagonal PTI stamps, coffee rings from Verve (too cute), and sentiment!!

    AWESOME pillow box! I love the added texture of the burlap! And your coffee photo is AMAZING!!! Totally works on the card! You may want to dabble a bit more in this whole mixing of artistic agendas!!! Just sayin'...
