May Arts Cardmaker Hop

Welcome to the May Arts/Cardmaker Blog Hop.  I'm teaching a card making workshop for kids at a local art studio and I made up three CAS cards that could be easily mass produced.

I started off by die cutting out the PTI hexagon cover plate and using it as mask.  I took the ink pad directly to the paper to create the hexagon background, love the unever lok you get that way.  I inked the card stock and then added a 2 inch piece of May Arts Sheer Ruffle Edge and May Arts Satin Hearts.  I added a piece of Trendy Tapes washi tape.

Next up I die cut out a PTI Tiny Tags heart and thread it on a piece of May Arts burlap string.  Presto... now do you think I can get small children to mass produce this card???

And here are the other cards for the class.... wish me luck.  Now for more inspiration hop along to the rest of the talented crew...  leave comments along, the Ribbon Lady is giving away a 4 spools of ribbon!!!!
