smile and sympathy cards

Welcome to another 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday.  This week our sponsor is Sara Smeby, who's a Stampin Up rep and has offered up a $20 gift certificate to one lucky player this week.  She sent everyone on the DT a bunch of goodies to play with, so I've put together today's card (I added the Lil Inker heart, sentiment sticker and doily).  I don't usually make cards without some stamping, so it was fun to get out of my comfort zone a bit.  To see what the rest of the DT have created go check out their blogs, WendiRoseJenny, Annie and Janice.

And since I had a doily out I thought I'd play along with the WMS Blog Party, so missing the sketch challenges, I've been going through WMS withdrawl.  I've used the new May Arts Houndstooth ribbon, WMS Frame It sentiment, Simon Says Stamps die, Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder and a doily.  The flowers were die cut out of a scrap piece of paper that I'd stamped PTI Rosie Posie on and then didn't use, kinda like the pattern.  This card is for my friend who recently lost her cat...  :(
