Happy Tuesday. So I thought I'd go back to making cards, or perhaps I'd go back to making things that I actually "need" (i.e. holiday cards for my staff), but instead inspiration has decided to play along with Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist using Heather's tag as the inspiration. (I promise this is the last one, deadline in a mere hours and someone has to go to work). So when thinking about what sort of cityscape options I had in my stash (none in the answer), I thought why not turn it into a country scene? I've used the PTI set On the Farm, some May Arts silk and burlap string and used the PTI tag and then cut out the centre with another die. And on a slightly different note-- this is my 1400th blog post on my card blog-- what do you think I've done with all 1399 other projects?
You made such a pretty tag, Erin :-D I like it a lot :-D
ReplyDeleteOh love the feminine country scene!
ReplyDeleteAwesome take on the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLovely tag, I love the country scene since I'm a country girl! I'm hoping you have shared your other 1399 cards/tags with loved ones and aren't just hoarding them! When I make something that turns out wonderful I tend to want to keep it for inspiration. I have a cork board above my creating desk for such pieces. But I really make to spread love so keeping for myself is selfish! You are a gifted artist and the whole world should know.
ReplyDeleteLove this Erin!
