Happy Monday, a fast card for this week's PTI Make It Monday, colorful corners. I had to redo the card several times b/c I can't stamp sentiments straight, so this one is still a bit off, but oh well. Onward! And my card is going for less color... but still like the simplicity of it. Are any of you crafty peeps in my neck of the woods? I'm hosting a blogging meet up next week, click here for the details.
Wish I was in your neck of the woods. Love the tiny pop of color. Reminds me of the cards Susan Rihala is posting. Love her blog too. And no worries on the sentiment. I am forever eyeballing and redoing my sentiments.
ReplyDeleteWish I lived near you, especially today when it's way below zero in Wisconsin. I love the idea of using those stamps for this technique, was thinking of that myself. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Love the soft touch of colors. I wish I lived near you, but I'm in sweet home Alabama.
ReplyDeleteLove your card, Erin! I, too, can't seem to get my sentiments straight. I've resorted to using my Stampamajig so I don't ruin my card. Works great except for the times my stamp has fallen off onto my almost finished card! Hard to fix it then! Wish I lived closer. Would love to be in Nevada now as it's only 6 degrees here in Nebraska & chilly!!
ReplyDeleteI almost used that stamp set - it lends itself well to a bold corner design- You must be near Auburn. I used to live in Santa Rosa and have a good friend up there. I'm in St. Louis now. Oh well... enjoy th Gold Country up there!
ReplyDeleteSweet, sweet card Erin! The simple coloring is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI stamp crooked and photog crooked.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous.
I wanna go to your bloggy meet up!
Lovely.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Love your doodled flowers you chose to use! Mine are crooked a lot too, I try to hide it with the angle of the photography sometimes...ha!
