Today's the PTI Blog Hop and this month the inspiration was a photo and while I love the colors, I went for a more muted option (it's hard to see the red and pinks behind the vellum sentiment). I colored the water color paper and then added embossing paste on top with a stencil. I added the PTI sentiment embossed in gold on vellum and added an arrow to cover an inky oops and some gold sequins. Since I love posting cards and being my worst critic, I can say that I don't love love this, I think I needed a smaller sentiment for my frame and the arrow is a bit off... but perhaps I'll doctor it up later today when I finish work? Or maybe not? Life seems to be moving in a warp speed at the moment and I'm constantly trying to come up with a realistic balance on what I can and cannot do...
You're being overly critical, Erin! I think this is a textural delight and I love the soft vellum over all that gorgeous background!! Enjoy the hop!! Hugs, Darnell
