Daring Cardmakers is hosting a winter themed challenge this week and I thought that was a nice change from all these summer contests! (It helps that I've been skiing for the first time this winter and it's very, very cold in my little winter world). The sketch is from clean & simple stamping. I stamped the snowflakes on white card stock and vellum which works for the Character Cafe challenge with vellum.Materials: Stampendous snowflake stamp, E-1953 snowflake stamp, Studio G sentiment, black card stock, white card stock, vellum, silver ink, Fiskars rotary cutter with deckle blade
So pretty, and just what I think of when I wish for winter here when it is 90 degrees! How was your skiing trip?
ReplyDeleteFantastic. Next to holly, snowflakes are a favourite. I love the monochromatic-ness of this card.

ReplyDeleteWhat a creative use of Vellum. I love the snowflakes. Here in Florida I just don't see them anymore, and I sometimes miss the cold. :o) Your card is lovely!
