Susan at Simplicity is challenging us to make a one layer card that celebrates your heritage. One layer cards are seriously hard... I had to make 3 before I decided I was done playing, and the one I like best isn't even a one layer card! But I was trying to make it work as a one layer card... it just didn't work. So, right, back to the theme. I am American, but recently got New Zealand citizenship as well, so I thought I should make a card that celebrated my dual status. Not an easy thing to do on a one layer card, and Susan even sent me an email suggestion on how to do it, perhaps that's cheating? For Fun Challenges is also running a similar themed challenge, so I'll enter the card in that contest too.

What a fun way to show your love for both places. Thanks for sharing with us on For Fun.
Not cheating at all in my book when you get advice from a wonderfully talented lady like Susan. I'm thinking these cards are great, and a tad bit jealous that you've gotten to experience dual citizenship.
YES!!!!! I love them all! Thanks so much for sharing your special situation and celebrating it so craftily! Very cool.
These are just great! I'm glad you stuck it out!
