Happy Monday! It's raining here in Northern California and I am so excited. We barely survived the Halloween fun this weekend. The final tally of candy we gave away at our house was over 1400 pieces. Crafty fun to share, while I procrastinate from prepping for this week's card class. The top class is a quick take on the new PTI Make it Monday Challenge, using fabric pieces to make a Christmas tree. Since I'm me, I tried using several different May Arts ribbons for the look. Truth be known I don't love it, but my 7 year old said he liked it, so that's good enough in my book.
And this card was inspired by the latest Fusion Card Challenge, I love the look of the flowers, so I pulled out the Altenew stamps, watercolored a scrap of letterpress paper (it was someone's wedding invitation), added a Lawn Fawn sentiment, Studio Calico heart and some white May Arts silk. ReplyDeleteIt was bucketing over here on Halloween....so we maybe had 15 trick or treaters?! I sent 4 lbs of candy each to my kids...gotta get that stuff outta the house!
Ribbons are fabulous on the first tag, and the second is beautiful with the gorgeous roses~
