I've used the Everything But the Kitchen Sink sketch and used Wee Memories "SOS" challenge (I've done scallops and orange- and opted out of string, b/c I didn't have the right color). I love the CAS look to this card. 
Inspiration struck me at the last possible minute for the Everything But The Kitchen Sink challenge for hair accessories. I've used a green hair band that I had floating around. I don't think I've ever used fabric on a card, love the texture. After I found the lovely ribbon and string (recycled from a gift my husband received last week when he finished work) I realized that I was using the Embellish colors (plus squares). So wow, two great challenges, just in the nick of time. 
This month's Everything But the Kitchen Sink sketch challenge is based on Kelly Marie's photo of her front loading washing machine. I thought a fun take on it was to use Courtney's Look Up set (compliments of Karen) and Kathy Martin's super cute Darling Duds digital image and create a fun twist on the laundry idea. I spend a lot of time doing laundry and I don't own a dryer, so I love the idea of taking the laundry and sending it up, up, and away. 
This week's cas-tastic Wednesday challenge is to case one of the design team's cards. I chose Agata's very fun monster card. I have been enjoying Jill's blog "inspired by" and think that casing other people's cards is one of the biggest compliments you can give. I must say that I tried really hard to have my little Hero Arts owl have mis-matched socks like Spike, but after several creative attempts (legs from a frog stamp, body from a giraffe stamp) I decided it didn't work and left the feet alone. Since I've used buttons on this card I'll enter it in the Everything But The Kitchen sink button challenge. Agata-- loved your tip on using graph paper (she cased that from Jane- who's digital stamp she used). I raided my son's drawing book and now have some "back to school" ideas brewing with graph paper. I also "borrowed" the eyeballs from my children's art supplies.
Sylvia was oh-so generous with the Color Throwdown party and gave away several Stampin Up sets as a thank you for the 280 comments she received on her blog. I love generous people. (This is a great place to throw in a random mention to Jenny's blog candy give away, click here to post a comment- she's spreading the word about her challenge and giving away a Hero Arts set). But back to my current thank you card-- thank you Sylvia for the great Stampin Up cherry stamp. I've used the Card Patterns sketch. Mark's Finest Papers Speedy Cat challenge this week is thank you cards, so here's another entry to that challenge. And Everything But the Kitchen Sink is celebrating buttons this month for their household item. Thanks to Sylvia I had these cute buttons. Last month when EBTKS did tin foil I was able to get the entire family to play along, click here, so this month my 5 year old son wanted to play again. I absolutely love his creative ideas, I swear it wasn't my idea to use buttons as coconuts. And since I've used the great Cosmo Cricket paper with polka dots let's enter this in the Simon Says Stamp and Treehouse Thursday polka dot challenges.

Okay, here's the second card... fairly easy to connect the dots from the previous card. It's another take on the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Sketch. It also uses words so I'll enter it in the Res Q "medical report" challenge and it also has black and white, plus one color for the Corrosive Challenge. Crazy 4 Challenges is having a paper flower challenge and I'm going to enter it too, even though my flower is only one layer. That CAS girl in me has a hard time with too many layers.
I made three cards while playing around with the same elements. One can connect the dots between the cards, it might be a bit harder to follow my logic. This card is for the Everything But The Kitchen Sink sketch challenge. It also uses black & white plus one color, which works for the Corrosive Challenge. The Res Q challenge has a "medical report" challenge, which means using words.

An extremely clean and simple card for this week's Moxie Fab World: Tuesday Trigger. Check out the beautiful photo below for the inspiration photo. I'm also entering this in the Everything But the Kitchen Sink Challenge #16, which calls for nail polish. I painted the buttons with nail polish. I'm amazed that I've been thinking about these two competitions for the last day or so and I end up with something so extremely simple. I had a flower, but it looked to cluttered and it wasn't quite the right color. I think I've been reading too many of Susan's Simplicity blogs, because I am loving the white and clean look.
