I like it a latte

I'm trying... I'm trying. These cards are for Susan's Simplicity One Layer Wednesday challenge, the theme being repetition. I love the idea, but understand why she joked that you can make some two layer with the mistake cards. I went through more then one piece of card stock and I still don't think either of these are perfect. So why am I posting them? Because otherwise I'll spend the rest of the afternoon trying to make them perfect, and unfortunately life doesn't allow me such an opportunity. I will probably try again, but not sure if it'll happen today because my little man has a fever.

Materials: Stampin Up "I Like it a Latte" and coffee swirl, Dawn Houser for Inkadinkado coffee stamp, colored with chalk and versamark pen.

I so totally understand! I made about 3 cards myself before I finally decided that I liked it! LOL!

lol, been there, done that!!! You are among many friends, Erin :) I'm trying SO hard at CAS - it's a struggle for me! Check out my blog today and you will see how much STUFF I ususally add to my cards - tee hee. Your card is perfect for the challenge! And... you are way ahead of me, because I haven't found the courage to try yet! Hugs, dear friend - great job!!!

Oh I'm so with you here! I posted mine knowing it was less than right but as my Dad used to say 'A blind man would be pleased to see it' LOL

Whoever thought CAS was easy, has never done CAS properly. It's very frustrating when you can't replicate on paper the picture you have in your mind. I like Sue W's comment, 'A blind man would be please to see it.' Keep on CAS-ing.

Oh, I hope your little man is feeling better! Mine had pink-eye/allergic reaction on Tuesday but is all better now.

And you've made two wonderful cards!!!! I like them a latte!

I ended up with 2 cards as well...one 2-layer card to fix a huge mistake and then the remade one for the challenge! I like both of yours!!

CAS is the most difficult "technique" for me too but you have 2 super cards - like them both.

I fully understand - I made two versions (I almost always do!) but I really like both of your cards. It feels like having a break and relax ...
