These two cards are for the second Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. I broke down and ordered some of Claire's stamps last week and I was excited to give a few of them a try. My children had a completely different agenda when I tried to sneak away last night. So I look at these two cards and hear the melt downs and the screaming that accompanied the process... but oh well, now I've got the stamps and will give them another try, perhaps after the boys have gone to bed.
Materials: First card: Waltzingmouse Big Blossms stamp for the background and the scalloped oval punch, Stampin Up sentiment, Mini Me flowers, vellum, scallop cutter
Second Card: Studio G sentiment, Waltzingmouse leaf, hand cut oval (hence the less then perfect state), green ribbon, cool leaf paper from my stash, black paper

Thanks for playing Erin and I love both of your cards but I really like the vellum in the first one! Meltdowns and screaming are all a part of the growing process don't forget! (although I don't think I told myself that when my kids were little lol!)
Really love the fun cards. New stamps huh, it is fun to try them out as soon as we get them. Good job. Don't you just love to watch your kids while they sleep...little angels. As Bonnie said, it's all aprt of growin' up.
Hmm, were you by chance at my house??? Sounds familiar. So glad that you got to try out your new stamps too! Nice color choices in both cards, but I really like the black, kraft and green combo of the second.
Nice job on both cards, enjoy your new things@
love your take on the sketch Erin - love the flowers on the vellum panel one and the Kraft and green colors on the leaf one! Nice job even if you were distracted! thanks for playing with WMS this week!
