I found a package of My Mind's Eye Love Me Do on sale at the local craft shop and was inspired by Amy's card to use lots of cool patterned paper and the Skipping Stones sketch. After playing with the paper for awhile I realized why it was on sale- it's got marks through it... but I think we'll just pretend it's adding texture? I haven't made a card without any stamping on it in a long time. I think it's a bit busy for my normal taste, but fun to try something different once in awhile.

I adore that paper!!! I totally think the lines are intentional! *wink* Love the way you layered them- and yes, different than your norm, but still totally fun!!
If you hadn't mentioned the marks, I would have thought they were part of the paper. So good to see you go out of your normal comfort zone, I know for one that it is difficult to do.
Oh I did not notice the marks at first until I read your post and then I looked closely. I think it adds to the card. Your card is super cute. This is one of my fave lines. Great card!
How cute!! Those papers are wonderful (even with the marks) and those little birds are darling!
love that polka dot paper! Especially paired with the cute clouds. Thanks so much for playing along with us at SSD!
