kraft & red limelight sketch card

Mandy at Limelight Paper Crafts has a sketch challenge with the added twist of a red embellishment.  When I saw Karen's red and kraft card this morning I immediately thought of the card I'd made last night.  So I added the red eyelets, and presto, my card meets the sketch and the challenge... funny how those things can work like that.  I love the sentiment (even if it's a bit crooked on this card) and now that I'm looking at it I realize our library books are due today, must get the next Narnia book for my son.

Materials: PTI kraft card stock, PTI notebook die, PTI Book Print impressions plate, PTI All Booked Up sentiment, My Mind's Eye Love Me Do patterned paper, PTI Warm Happiness die, Making Memories red eyelets, black sharpie pen, Stampin Up black ink

Oh what fun! Love the embossing, love the pops of red, and love the detail of the notebook thing on the end. Narnia, huh? I've never read that myself, perhaps it is about time?

This is wonderful, Erin! I love all the kraft, the embossed notebook die and the red mug. I thought you curved the sentiment on purpose! I think it looks great!
