Happy Mother's Day

I could've sworn the ink color was the right color...  my aqua is a bit more teal, oh dear.  Literal girl over here has a hard time going against the grain.  A few new goodies put to work in this card, I went to a JoAnn's for the first time in my life yesterday (I know, what planet have I been living on?  New Zealand is the answer!).  But now that I'm a resident of the good ol US of A I may just find myself there again... thankfully it's 45 minutes away, so my pocket book might survive.   So right, back to the card...   I've recently becoming a CR84FN junkie (it's all the comment love ladies, thank you so much).  Check out the DT's card for some serious inspiration.  I think I'll get my husband to send this one to his mom...  perhaps if I leave it with a stamped addressed envelope he'll get the hint?

Materials: WPlus9 Woodgrain Silhouettes flower and sentiment, Hero Arts Cling Classic Fabric Design, Cuttlebug embossing faux stitching folder, Spellbinders Circle and Scallop dies, Versafine black ink, teal ink from Spotlight, May Arts silk ribbon, Core'dinations card stock, cream card stock

Your MIL will love it! And fun to see you're putting new tools to work so quickly! All of your elements are lovely together- and I might have to check out that challenge- those colors ARE pretty! :)
(good luck with the husband filling out the card though!)

This is gorgeous, Erin! Too funny about going to a JoAnn's. ;) I'm envious that you have the HA fabric background and that faux stitching embossing folder! They both look fabulous together here.

This is such a pretty card, Erin! I love the embossed stitching border, and I love that floral stamp used as a silhouette (I have that set, so I'll definitely have to CASE this idea!)
