hot air balloon card and rocket ships

We interrupt today's card blog to shout from the roof tops "hip, hip, horray".  Do you ever have those days where you just pinch yourself and wonder if it's true?  I've been on a blog candy winning spree and am seriously siked.  Love winning stuff (thank you Dawn at Wplus9, Lindsay at Note to Self, Core'dinations and Unity Friends with Flair).  And to show my appreciation for all the things I've been getting, please check out my guest blogger challenge over at Yvonne's "Do More With Less", I'm giving away a PTI Impression plate to a random participate, because I seem to be on a random winning spree!  Right, now back to today's crafty projects...

I wanted to play along with Kerrianne's Wplus9 Challenge to touchable texture to a card, so I added some fluffy clouds (made out of the spider web that's for sale at Kmart, look out porch, we're going to be decorating soon).  I also found inspiration from the Polkadot Door Designs photo, if you look closely I've matched the background and clouds.

Next up I used my son's blog win to make this fabulous, out of this world tag, for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.  I also used Jinny's color challenge.  And if you look below Ben decided to join me, so he also used the sketch and the color challenge with his new stamps (do you think he'll let me keep using them?).

Materials: Balloon Card: American Crafts sticker, WPlus Spring Post sentiment, Impression Obsession background stamp, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, spider web

Rocket Ship Tag: Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Wonders, Waltzingmouse Very Vintage Labels 4, Versafine black ink, Coredinations card stock, PTI kraft card stock, Tattered Angels black mister,  Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 4, black sharpie, water color pencils, Twinery charcoal twine

Ben's tag: WMS Half Pint Wonders, Tim Holtz fired brick ink, teal and green ink, Twinery Cappuccino twine, Spellbinders Label Two

Cuteness from the tippy top of the post to the bottom! I LOVE your son's rocket tag, he's quite the talented stamper (and an adorable one, too)! The paper-piecing on your tag is so much fun, such a great idea to make tags with the Half-Pint Heroes set!

All your projects are adorable, but I am especially partial to the hot air ballon card :) I love how you matched the background from the inspiration image and the spider-web clouds add a great level of texture.
