TGIF

Happy Friday blogland!  I'm running out the door to work (on my day off!) and I've got 2 cards to share for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge (and the deadline is closely approaching).  I made the coffee card first and decided it was too flat or something, or maybe it's that my newsprint paper is crooked?  Who knows.  I'm giving it to my friend Valerie because she convinced me this morning that even if I don't love the card that it's still probably fine.  Have a fabulous Labor Day weekend everyone, think of me doing some laundry.

Erin, Two great cards. I'm going with the wine glases with the black chevrons - not just because it's Friday, but because the contrast is so striking!

Very classy! Love the colors and the CAS design! Fab combo between the chevron and wine glasses!

Both of your cards are so pretty but your first one with the vellum behind the wine glasses just too clever.

You always make fun cards when you pair wine and chevron.

That wine card is wonderful! I love the way you made the wine in the glasses. The coffee card (flat though you think it is) has a fun, light, coffee house feel to it with the newsprint slightly angled.

Hope you've had a fun weekend despite the laundry. :) Love the zig zag border with the chevron paper on your first card, and the vellum label looks so cool layered on top!
