Have you noticed a coffee trend on my card blog lately? (Click here, here, here or here). Well I didn't exercise any self restraint when Simon Says put out their October card kit, and now I have more coffee goodies... (since I've just shown that I was completely lacking in other coffee themed crafting goodies, right?). So, I'm playing along with the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge for tags. In addition to the SSS card kit I used the Verve coffee die cut, Simon Says Stamp falling star die on the vellum (die cut out with the Lawn Fawn tag die), PTI tag die and three May Arts ribbons and a doily from work. And below was the card I was working on yesterday, inspired by the latest CAS(E) this Sketch. I must admit that I really wanted to use black embossing powder on the vellum sentiment, and in that early am, not thinking clearly, I grabbed the midnight blue embossing powder... and I'm too lazy to redo the card. For the bottom card I used Verve sentiment and coffee die with a Hero Arts frame, Lawn Fawn coffee cup, May Arts ribbon, embossing paste and Tattered Angels mist. So, is that enough coffee crafty fun for this Saturday morning?
Gorgeous card and tag :-) I love how you used the October kit and the splash or orange and coffee die cut are fabulous ! :-)
