warm wishes

warm wishes!  I won a Lawn Fawn stamp set from Tracy's holiday tag fun and games and I'm so excited that I now have the rest of the Lawn Fawn "Love you latte" set (I had a few of the stamps from a teacher sample from my card making days at Ben Franklin).  But now I'm feeling complete!  Anyhoo, today's card is a CASE of Laurie's card for the PTI Make it Monday a la carte challenge (I'm using the Cover Plate negatives), but I didn't actually use the negatives, now that I think about it, I used the negative space as a stencil for the embossing paste...  details, details, right?  You could just say I was playing along with the challenge before of embossing paste for backgrounds?  I've used the PTI tag, Lawn fawn stamp and sentiment, PTI cover plate as a stencil, embossing paste, May Arts snowflake and ribbon and some patterned paper.  I hope everyone has a fun New Year's Eve, I've got a New Year's project sitting in pieces on my desk, we'll see if it materializes... but busy days at the Outside Inn...
