this girl runs on coffee...

This girl rungs on coffee...  okay, I'm off to a fabulous supper club, but because I love ~amy~ so here are 8 more projects-- bringing my total for the Winter Coffee Lovers Hop up to 61!  Go check out my Coffee Lovers round up post for all the projects in one blog post.

CAS(E) this sketch inspired my to pull out my neglected PTI Mat Stack stamp which is perfect for the challenge.

Little Tangles is having a gift giving challenge this month and I used the coffee cups on this Christmas coffee tag.

Playing along with the final Curtain Call challenge, I added some pine leaves to my take out coffee mug.

how ya bean?

One last entry for the Ellen Hutson Pin Inspired challenge, I was inspired by the new Curtain Call Challenge "Ice Coffee" and combined the Ellen Hutson coffee cup with the colorful paper from my stash from the color inspiration.  Happy Monday crafty friends.  I have an idea for the PTI Make It Monday Challenge, but I didn't have enough time this morning, so we'll see if I can revisit that idea later this week.

creative fuel

Happy Wednesday!  I know some people think they're half way through the week-- but as a girl who works weekends, I'm trying to work on taking a pause during the week (something that is proving to be more difficult then I thought).  So while some of you may look at my excessive crafting this week in awe, please note that it's actually keeping me sane.  Thanks to the crew at Coffee Lovers for providing such a colorful outlet.  So with that disclaimer in mind...  my first card is for the Reverse Confetti sketch, I actually used Reverse Confetti dies and stamps (I entered earlier in the hop and this morning I realized I used the "wrong" stamps).

This tag is for the MFT Sketch Challenge using MFT dies, Amy Tangerine paper and a Butterfly Reflections sentiment.

Definitely inspired by the Curtain Call Challenge, my Reverse Confetti coffee cup didn't ink properly, so I used a Lil Inker die and some cork to cover the sentiment, which turned out better then I thought.  The sentiment is from Butterfly Reflections-- channeling my inner girl boss.

we don't camp we glamp

Today's PTI Make It Monday is repeat stamping with smaller images and since I'm in full blown campground mode with Labor Day weekend at the Inn Town Campground, I channeled my vintage trailer obsession.  Love the white on white with a pop of color.  My second card is a CAS card inspired by current Current Call Challenge.  Hope everyone has a great day, I'm off to work.

celebrate and thank you card

Happy Monday!  This week's PTI Make It Monday is for monochromatic with a pop of color.  I pulled out an older Mat Stack set and created a fun background.  My second card uses the current Curtain Call inspiration- herb garden/air plants... it worked in my world.

some girls want to have fun....

Happy Sunday.  You know me and coffee cards... somehow they seem to materialize... although I do want to restock the camp store with more camping cards, so that might be the next agenda.  The first card is one last entry for the SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge, thanks again Lynn for the sentiment set.  I used some Neat & Tangled coffee cups on the background.  The second card is for the current Curtain Call Challenge using Hero Arts goodies.

creative fuel and time for wine

I think I have mentioned that I make these cards most of the time as words of encouragement for myself, or expressions of my thoughts... and today's projects are so true to that.  Creative fuel with coffee... and always time for wine!  I was inspired by the Reverse Confetti sketch and the Curtain Call inspiration challenge for these two projects.  The first card uses mainly Reverse Confetti goodies (the embossing folder is from Sizzix and the stitched frame die is from MFT).  The second card uses all MFT dies and stamps and a piece of burlap ribbon from May Arts and water colors on an upcycled wedding invitation.

Merry Christmas foxy coffee tag

Can you follow that train of thought?  I am having way too much fun with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags and Day #14 is a shaped coffee cup with a fox and the new Curtain Call Challenge.....  I used the green for the Lawn Fawn fox's coffee up... and I promise the large take out coffee cup tag is coming next (once I finish it).  For my bag, I used May Arts burlap to cover the branding (love upcylcing things) and then tied the tag with 3 different May Arts ribbon.  The tag die and stamps are all Lawn Fawn.  Okay, I'm not getting enough done today, so I thought posting this project would help me feel more accomplished (b/c I mae it almost 8 hours ago).  Wishing everyone else a more productive afternoon.

my friend

My friend...  a ski card inspired by the latest Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, love the rustic white textured look in the photo.  I just spent the last 3 days skiing in Lake Tahoe (sneak peak at a photo here), so instead of skates I used the PTI skis, plus the Altenew sentiment.  I added the large snowflake and added some gold embossing to the tips for the PTI Make It Monday a la carte challenge.  I'm teaching a card making class on Wednesday and I really should be prepping for that... sigh, procrastination at its best!

thanks fall tag

Thanks fall tag for the Tag You're It challenge.  I was inspired by Nancy's tag to pull out my Lawn Fawn leaves die, so I up cycled some letterpress paper I have (which has directions to a wedding on it) and added some distress inks.  I'm not sure how I managed to get 4 different May Arts ribbon on one tag, but I did…  I also used the new Lawn Fawn sentiment.  I'm also entering this in the Curtain Call "Love Leaves" challenge.

Happy Fall

Happy Fall!  My next card making class at Ben Franklin is Wednesday, October 1st and we're going to make some fall cards, so I made these two cards with some of the new Lawn Fawn goodies.  The top card was inspired by Heather's card and the current Curtain Call inspiration challenge., but I added a piece of May Arts ribbon to the background.  And my second card uses a bunch of DCWV Halloween paper, Ghosts & Goblins, trying to break out and do something different, partially inspired by Virginia's View challenge.  I've used the Lawn Fawn monster and tag dies, plus more May Arts ribbon :)  Happy Saturday, I'm off to a wine tasting event, photos will be up on my work blog a bit later.

Happy Mother's Day tag

Happy almost mother's day…  this morning's crafting fun is a pretty tag inspired by the current Curtain Call Challenge.  I taught a card class last night (click here to see the cards we made) and I put away all the gold shiny pieces this morning and decided I should play with the gold and pink inspiration from the challenge.  I went for the pink via May Arts silk ribbon (one dyed with distress ink, the other is pink).  I stamped Wplus9 Defining words on the PTI tag and then used a second tag out of vellum and added the Gourmet Rubber Stamps silhouette and sentiment (embossed in black and then gold for the sentiment).  Love this tag, totally won't work for my mother, but I'm sure it would work for someone's…    Below are a few of the pieces from the class last night from my instagram account and I've got a Pinterest board just of my tags, click here to see more.
