there is always time for coffee...

Playing along with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge... not really sure what I think of the star... but the sentiment rings true!  I don't love the second card, but I entered it (via Instagram) to the Ellen Hutson sketch challenge.

hello fall

Happy Monday!  Today's PTI Make It Monday is to use packaging dies in cards and I've got a heathy number of tags, so I made this card to celebrate October.  My second card is for the Ellen Huston Challenge, it's a sketch this time around.  And my third card pairs the latest MFT sketch and color challenge.

happy mail just for you

There's a common thread with these four cards.... alcohol inks.  Plus, I've been mailing more cards lately....  these two elephant cards were inspired by my brother's girlfriend's internet in mail and elephants.  Playing with alcohol inks, a Hero Arts die and a bit of the nuvo drops for the eye.  My second card used an Ellen Hutson sentiment for the August Essentials Challenge.

This tag is for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash... the tag dies and clear pillow box are from Reverse Confetti, more of the alcohol ink fun with a Lawn Fawn leaf and a vintage sentiment (designed by my pal Karen).  And finally-- I made a few birthday cards for a local shop... I love the white on white with a pop of color.  The card uses Lil Inker ballon dies and string dies, Verve sentiment and rectangle die, MFT die and Sizzix embossing folder.

3 coffee cards

Life begins after coffee.... yes ma'am.  I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with these three cards, all inspired by various challenges.  The first card uses the sketch from Fusion Card Challenge.  The second card is for the August PTI Blog Hop and the third card is for the Ellen Huston August Challenge-- my first time playing with alcohol inks.

you can do this

Hello!  Playing along with the current Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge.  The flower is from Ellen Hutson, the sentiment from Hero Arts, the stencil and dies from PTI and some silver Nuvo Mousse which has dried out when I opened it-- does that mean I should just throw the rest of it away?  And my card below is just me playing.... more camping themed cards for the Inn Town Campground's camp store.

Happy Birthday and flowers...

Happy Tuesday crafty peeps!  I am sneaking in with a few hours to go for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, patterned paper.  I should use more.....  And one more card for the Ellen Huston Mix It Up Challenge, using my first Concord & 9th set (so I can play along with Where Creativity Meets C9).  Right-o... back to work I go.

love live snail mail!

Playing along with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch!  Super honored to have gotten a shout out for last week's challenge.  And below is my new favorite card for the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge with Concord & 9th.  I'm over on the Coffee Lovers Blog today with another card for the same challenge.

Just a little lovely...

A mix of procrastination and motivation... today's card includes 2 cards I made for this week's card class, plus playing along with the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge (top card with Ellen Hutson and Concord & 9th), the PTI Make It Monday A La Carte Challenge, the Inspired by all The Little Things Challenge.  My final butterfly card isn't for a challenge, just playing with pieces.... Although, that being said, this week's Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is "Something new" and I used my new-to-me butterfly dies from Lynn.

a note of thanks

A couple of cards... my mom asked for some thank you and birthday cards for Christmas.  So my first card uses the Altenew Inspiration challenge, I went for the November colors.

This is another take on the current Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge.

And this one uses the Reverse Confetti sketch, although now that I look at it again I realize I forgot to use any Reverse Confetti goodies...  Oops.

Thinking of you....

TGIF...  let's take a break from Christmas crafts and coffee overload...  My mom has asked for some birthday and thank you cards for a gift, so I made these three cards, all with Concord & 9th goodies (thanks Where Creativity Meets C9 for the anything goes challenge).  My final card uses inspiration from the Ellen Huston Pin Inspired Challenge.

Joy to the world.... lots of coffee

Happy Day #2 of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  For those of you who don't like coffee, check back in with me in a week.  So... to kick off today's overloaded coffee goodies... the first project is for the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist-- mint, pink and gold.

This card is for the current MFT Sketch Challenge.

This tag is another one for the Ellen Hutson challenge, above is the color challenge and below is the sketch challenge.

There you go folks...  I'll be back with more....

Let it Snow and friend tag

Hello!  I'm working away over here.... I've got a few (chuckle) coffee cards ready for the big Coffee Lovers Bloghop (tomorrow!!!!)...  and I managed to pull off the December card class I teach (despite some serious procrastination) and oh, there's always those day jobs of mine.  But... today I've got 2 tags for the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine twist.... now that I look at the first tag I'm not so sure what's feminine about it... but I love snow (challenge for Day#5).  The second tag is for Day #6, Grey, Purple and Green.  I used the Concord & 9th die with a PTI tag die and a vintage rubber pine tree stamp that's probably 20 years old.  Wishing everyone a fabulous Thursday, I'l be back tomorrow with a coffee overload.
