pink coffee card and happy birthday card

Do you have those days where you blink and 12 hours have gone by?  Hello, that was my day today.  All those things on my to do list?  Some got done, but most didn't.  Anyhoo, above is my card for the Verve Diva Dare to use pink (I went with a stylish Verve coffee stamp on Authentique paper with a bit of May Arts ribbon).  I forget to use my stash of paper....  And below is my CAS card for the CAS(E) this sketch, to be honest I started it with the past Runway Inspired colors, but the project got lost in my desk and I only got back to it this morning, oops.

thanks a latte

thanks a latte… playing along with the Viva La Verve sketch with the Verve "Better with You" sentiment.  You have probably already figured out that I own a rather healthy supply of coffee stamps, so I thought I'd dust off an oldie but a goodie (Dawn Houser for Inkadinkado).  Playing some more with some metallic water colors and recycled letterpress paper.  Thanks Lynn for the inspiration.  No more crafting procrastination till all my card making class supplies are sitting in a pile by the door, Jen, I'm holding you to that reminder.

coffee and food

Hello!  I have a few projects to share, so grab a coffee and enjoy these coffee/food creations (all I'm missing in a wine label and I'd have all my favorite themes covered, oh well there's always tomorrow right?).  First up... a coffee card for the Verve Anni-VERVE-sary CAS card challenge

I also wanted to play along with the Verve Anything But a Card challenge, so I made a handy gift card holder.  I used the CR84FN colors.

Next up, I couldn't wait to get inky with the new PTI Foodie Fun set (I mean really, how could I resist??).  I used this week's ColourQ colors, although I guess my turquoise is a bit greener then it should be... I tried.

And this fabulous card I think works well for the new Young Crafters Unite Challenge, "trends", I'm loving the hexagon trend.

And lastly... the other day I shared a superhero sighting in my oh-so-messy craft room, but I had to tell you that I've got a different creature and look... the floor, the desk... and you can't see in this photo-- but the pile in front of the closet-- GONE!  Any guesses on who's he's dressed as today?  Jinny was the only one to get the right guess on Monday.

Right... well done, you made it to the end... forget coffee, I'm off to reward myself with a glass of wine.
