pinwheel cards

Happy Monday, I'm playing along with the WMS PJ party, I've got two entries, one is for a jar (~amy~ I must confess that I upcycled part of a card you sent me ages ago) and the other one is Old Pjs (I used 3 different WMS sets).  It's all systems go over here at work, so over and out.  Thanks Claire for another excuse to play with your beautiful stamps.

gift card holder set- WMS pj party

It's a PJ Party over at Waltzingmouse Stamps and I had grand plans to play along with all the fun, and then who knows what I've been up to (lots, but we'll skip those details). So here's a fun little gift card holder set for the sketch challenge.  I used glassine bags (and dry embossed them) and then added MFT tags stamped with two WMS stamp sets and added May Arts ribbon to the tags.  TGIF.

bundle of joy

Another cute little tag for the WMS PJ party, but who can resist, right?  I've used a WMS sentiment and background stamp and the baby outfit is a Unity stamp and some May Arts ribbon.

WMS PJ party projects

Happy Tuesday my friends.  I love WMS goodies and I love that there's a new PJ party this month b/c it motivates me to play along (although I'm suppose to be working on a card order, shhh... don't tell).  The top project is for the Gift Card It challenge-- I love decorating a pillow box and ading a gift cart inside.  I've used 3 different WMS sets too, bonus.  I've wrapped the pillow box (which is stamped with a Hero Arts background stamp) with May Arts burlaps and string.  And the card below (which is far too many layers b/c I kept changing my minds and added more...  anyhoo, thanks to the challenge to use your nestie friendly WMS stamps I pulled out this set.  Hope everyone is having a great day.

celebrate Christmas ornament

Happy Monday crafty friends.  I'm playing along with the new PTI Make it Monday (Camouflaging Die Cuts) and the Waltzingmouse Stamps PJ party (deck the halls).  I stamped a background stamp to the bottom of the tag and then decided I didn't like it, so I took a note from the recent Ellen Hutson tag fun and games and added texture paste and glitter to the bottom to cover up the part I didn't like (now it's got a bit of sparkle).   Next I added some May Arts ribbon and presto, my ornament is done (PTI tag die, PTI word die, WMS sentiment).  Super simple.  And now I'm off to work, can't wait to share the photos from yesterday's craft fair on my work blog.

Birthday wishes tag

Okay, one more project for the Waltzingmouse Pajama party, Claire challenge us to make a "Scandi tag" and I went with her option of making a birthday one.  I've used the WMS Heirlooms background stamp, added a sentiment, some May Arts burlap string, white mist and added, what I thought was the most perfect ribbon, May Arts 1 1/2 inch red houndstooth ribbon.  Okay, I've got things to do and I'd love to play with the various pieces I pulled out for this PJ party, but it might be time to get dressed and get a start on the day.

heartfelt thanks

TGIF crafty friends.  I'm playing along with the WMS Pajama Party- there are several options and I'd love to say I'm going to get to more, but let's just give heartfelt thanks for playing along with the "Wrap It Up Warm" challenge, I wrapped this pillow box in some May Arts ribbon and added a tag with WMS Vintage Labels one and Frame It sentiment.  I added the gold embossing to the tag and the leaf so I could also play along with the Virginia's View Challenge "all things metallic".  Fun to make a tag out of a non tag die.

life is good gift tag holder

So one more entry for the Waltzingmouse Stamps PJ party, I went with the snowflake idea and decorated this SRM glassine bag (love the look when you emboss them).  I added some pattered paper, a PTI snowflake and tiny tags and the WMS sentiment embossed in gold and some May Arts ribbon.  Life is good... gotta repeat that, having one of those mornings....

WMS PJ party

Hello-- welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps PJ party… It's been a long day and I started my projects  before the sun came up this morning… thankfully had a bit of time this evening to finish what I could.  I'm playing alone with the "Old Pajamas" (the Vintage Labels is one on of my first WMS sets), the Storytime Sketch, another Old Pajamas project and finally snowflakes.  I've used the PTI Make It Monday gold dipped die cuts on the first and last project too.  Thanks for checking them out.

Halloween treat bag

Is Halloween really right around the corner?  I'm making a quick project this Monday morning for the Waltzingmouse Pajama Party and the PTI Make it Monday weaving challenge.  And my second card is also for the WMS PJ party, Claire challenged us to pull out our older WMS sets and the Big Blooms was the very first set I had.  Seriously, why don't I use it more often?

follow your dreams

Follow your dreams.  They know the way.  Love, love, love this sentiment from PTI Building Blocks, I've added the vintage caravan from my friend Lindsay's line of stamps for RubberMoon.  I'm playing along with the Muse Challenge, I have that bicycle stamp, but thought I'd try not to be too literal.

And there's still a tiny bit of time left in the WMS PJ party sketch challenge.  I don't usually use very much patterned paper (funny since I have a lot of it), so I went for a busy background of Cosmos Cricket Garden Variety paper and then added a layer of vellum to the top before stamping the center with WMS stamps.  Couldn't post two cards without squeezing in some ribbon, so I added a piece of May Arts velvet corduroy ribbon to the card.  Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday, I'm off to tackle Mount Laundry at work.

WMS PJ Party

The Waltzingmouse PJ party is happening and I'm so late to the party (I hate being late).  I forgot about the party, even though I read the post the other week, so I didn't make anything in advance and then tried to think green this morning at some silly early hour, but the time change is not helping my creative mojo... so, I've got a bookmark, which I'm sorry really isn't very St. Patrick's Day, but it was my train of thought.  I've used the WMS background stamp, plus sentiment, in addition to the PTI All Booked Up image and Lucky from the Tiny Tag set.  I tied some May Arts silk and burlap cord to the top of the  bookmark.

And this tag... so even though it talks about friends being the family you can select, my mother LOVES tags, she's taken my tag class before and enjoys having them for gifts, so when I saw her this morning I asked if this is something she would like and I offered it to her she said, "I can take it?" with a look of disbelief?  So, confirmed, my mother likes the tag.  And there's still a little time left in the Simon Says Stamp tag challenge, so I'll add this to that too.

winter wishes wine tag

TGIF friends... it's been a long week in my little world, so we're celebrating the Waltingmouse Stamps PJ Party with a nod towards a bottle of wine.  The other tid bit I found interesting was when looking for a bottle to decorate I grabbed the bottle from the Nevada City Winery Bottle Your Own Party-- which was exactly one year ago (time to drink this bottle!).  I'm going to go to the event again tomorrow, so looking forward to that.  I've used 4 different May Arts ribbon on this CAS tag, plus WMS Say It Loud Winter Holiday and Very Vintage Labels No 4.

happy birthday

I need a couple more birthday cards for my custom order and this morning at some silly early hour I was inspired by Lynn's card to play along with Runway Inspired Challenge, but instead of patterned paper I used the Hero Arts background stamp (which is now nicely organized thanks to some sleeves compliments of ~amy~), to get the back and grey look I clear embossed the background and then added twinkling h2os on top of it and it has a fun shimmer.  Other supplies include: WMS Funky Flowers, WMS Frame It Sentiment, PTI leaf from Rosie Posie, Hero Arts background, May Arts satin pleats ribbon.  I also wanted to play along again with the Waltzingmouse sketch for their PJ party, but instead of a circle I used a square and instead of a banner I added the sneiment in that general area (be proud, literal girl is breaking out).  My day has been a blur, I made this card over 13 hours ago and just now having a chance to sit down and post it... but I'm happy to report that I've been working on my wholesale accounts for my new postcards and today's total of postcards sold-- 403!  Woo hoo.

birthday cards, times 3

So I have these birthday cards I need to finish by tomorrow, so the first card is a CAS card based on the  Waltzingmouse PJ Party sketch.

And this card is my take on Art Deco, not really sure it works, but...

And since I had the above pieces out and thought the Basic Grey paper looked a lot like the skirt from the Runway Inspired Challenge I made another birthday card.  Literal girl over here would've like the red to be the same shade as the jacket, but oh well....

And for those of you who follow me on Instagram you'll see that I made postcards from some of my images from my work blog!  My fabulous friend Kathy helped with the graphic design and I can't tell you how excited I am by them.....
