Sympathy card

I was inspired by Karen's lovely card and was trying to make a card for my friend who's cat recently passed away. Stacey's Curtain Call colors are a nice neutral set this week. But after I made it I thought it was kinda a guy card- something I don't make nearly enough of. So I think I'll enter it in this week's Sentimental Sunday's "for guys/plus sentiment" challenge.

Materials: Stampin Up sentiment, Stampin Up background stamp, Stampin Up black ink, Versamark, Stampin Up Certainly Celery card stock, misc. kraft colored art paper, green card stock scrap, Fiskars scallop rotary cutter, Stampin Up ribbon, corner rounder

Great composition, I like how that little touch of wasabi on the bottom really grounds the card. A really great thinking of you card, or sympathy card, with ever way you will go with it.

Love the rounded corner on one side and the scalloped trim at the bottom. Lovely card using this week's colours. Thanks for playing the Curtain Call :D

The colors are definitely nice and neutral (I love those earth tones as well). Perfect for the 'men' challenge too! Thanks so much for joining us for this week's Sentimental Sundays! :)

Great colour choice, especially for the nature of the card and for a masculine design. Thanks for joining us at the Sentimental Sundays last week, hope you can play with us this week, too!
