PDC blue/yellow/pink cards

This week's Play Date Cafe colors are navy blue/mustard yellow and hot pink. Not your normal color challenge, but I seem to have fun with all these off the wall color challenges. I made two cards. The butterflies are cut out, so here's another card for Simon Says Stamp challenge of paper piercing. The first one uses this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch.

I don't normally make black cards, so I'm not so sure what I think of this one. But I like the images, they're from a small NZ graphic design company that doesn't seem to exist anymore (anyone seen any new Greener Pasturer pieces? feel free to send me a new link), be proud ladies, I'm using up my stash. I think that coffee and cows will probably sum up my future road trip?

Materials: First Card: Gina K Designs label and sentiment (thanks Giesle!), Rosie's Studio butterflies, Versacolor blue & yellow ink, Versafine black ink, Giesle's die cut machine, pink twine, Stampin Up oval scallop punch

Second card: Greener Pastures patterned paper, black and yellow card stock, pink twine

Your first card is amazing. Love the "just pops" of colors against the white background. Love the twine that runs down the middle instead of a thick ribbon! And your second card is a lot fun too, hope you will have time to partake in some coffee on your trip.

You made these colors sing! The pink string is fantastic and just the perfect pop! I've been playing with black a little myself. Its starting to become my friend :)

I'm impressed! I still don't know if I'll be able to make that work- and you've got TWO great cards! And cheers for using your stash! Pretty sure I could craft for a couple of years with what I already have (but what fun would that be?)
Love the twine on the first card- it's a great take on the sketch- and those images are AWESOME!!!

You are SUCH a clever girl! {I love THESE!} What terrific use of this MOST challenging CHALLENGE! I love how you solved the "color puzzle" and put together some truly WONDERFUL pieces! As always, your talent is SO appreciated! Thanks, again, for sharing your work with the PDCC!
