I bought the Altenew stamp set above on the Simon Says Sale (those enabling crafty friends of mine!), playing along with this month's inspiration Challenge and the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge with these two cards.

Happy Birthday and flowers...
Happy Tuesday crafty peeps! I am sneaking in with a few hours to go for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, patterned paper. I should use more..... And one more card for the Ellen Huston Mix It Up Challenge, using my first Concord & 9th set (so I can play along with Where Creativity Meets C9). Right-o... back to work I go.

Just a little lovely...
A mix of procrastination and motivation... today's card includes 2 cards I made for this week's card class, plus playing along with the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge (top card with Ellen Hutson and Concord & 9th), the PTI Make It Monday A La Carte Challenge, the Inspired by all The Little Things Challenge. My final butterfly card isn't for a challenge, just playing with pieces.... Although, that being said, this week's Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is "Something new" and I used my new-to-me butterfly dies from Lynn.

3 sketches
Happy Saturday! I got back in my craft room this morning after a few days away. So I got inspired from some challenges. The first card is for the My Favorite Things Sketch, still playing with felt hearts. My second card is for the Fusion Card Challenge and the third card was inspired by the CAS(E) this Sketch! My second card uses a new to me Simon Says Stamp set (it's a holiday set), so I'm entering it in the Simon Says "Something New" challenge. And because Time Out Challenge theme is "Thankful" I'm going to add the final card.

Thank you for your Hard Work!
Playing along with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge. And since I added some coffee, it works well with the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge for Food/Drink-- can't forget our coffee! And below is another Tag for Tracey's challenge, inspired by Day #22, added embossing paste and glitter to a piece of embossed card stock. Hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday....

you're awesome
Happy Wednesday crafty peeps! I have a card class tonight and really should be finishing the card prep, but I get inspired by making coffee cards... I'm loving my new MFT dies, so I've got a CAS card to play along with the new sketch challenge. CASology challenge is cold, so let's all have iced coffee today, okay? And Simon Says Stamp challenge is "Anything New" and the MFT dies are news. And... my exciting news for those of you have a subscription to Sunset Magazine-- we're in the current issue under the feature of Nevada City. Woo hooooo!!!

but first, coffee
Anyone surprised I'm still making coffee cards? I did manage to put a few things away this morning, so there is hope that eventually I'll mix things up once I find the bottom of the pile? Today's card is inspired by the MFT sketch challenge, I used a MFT tag, Altenew coffee pot, Lil Inker sentiment. CAS... my favorite. Simon Says Stamp is having an anything goes challenge this week.

happy mother's day card
Inspired By All the Little Things, yeah for Lynn being their guestie, so I used the Little Tangles stamp, some water colors, a long neglected pad of Core'dinations and a little piece of May Arts ribbon for this card. The card also works for the current Simon Says Stamps challenge, "Make it Girlie". Below, a preview from the super fun (and very wet) Instagram meet up last night, thanks to my friend Lenka for snapping this picture of me. I'll have photos up on the Outside Inn's blog later today.

Happy Birthday My Friend
Happy birthday my friend... I CASEd Lynn's card and was inspired by the latest Altenew Challenge "Gold and Glitter", some sparkly glitter tape and gold emobssing powder on my card. I'm really hoping to finish my card order, I should go pull out my stash and see how many more I need to make. Simon Says is having an "Anything Goes" challenge and there are a few more hours left in that challenge...

be my valentine tag card
Happy Sunday crafty friends. I will admit that I'm not at all interested in the Super Bowl (sorry Jen). I made this Valentine's day card this morning, inspired by the latest CAS(E) this Sketch. I had an extra foam heart from last week, so I inked it up and then added glitter to the top, so it's diminsions and texture... A little patterned paper, washi tape, 3 types of May Arts ribbon, a tag... my kinda card. Simon Says is having an anything goes, now which challenge was it that was celebrating hearts?

smile
Smile... this card was inspired by the December Altenew Challenge and ~amy~'s card from yesterday (look I have glassine bags after all!).
And this thanks card was inspired by the Retro Sketches Challenge. Simon Says Wednesday Challenge is having an Anything Goes week, so I'll play along too. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I went out exploring today for a bit, click here to view a preview photo.

merry christmas moose tag
So back to playing along with Ellen Hutson's 12 Tag of Christmas with a Feminine Twist, tonight's tag uses Jennifer McGuire's tag for a source of inspiration, but I'll admit that I didn't use the technique she showed in her video. I've used the fun Lawn Fawn Critters in the Arctic moose and stamped him twice with some Unity background stamps to give him some texture, plus some water colour pencils. Since his neck wouldn't fit a bow, I added the May Arts burlap string to the back. For my background texture I heat embossed in white the Hero Arts hexagons stamp and then added some water colour to give the splatter/circle look from Jennifer's tag. I added a SRM sticker for my sentiment and my tag is from My Favorite Things. The Simon Says Stamps crew are doing the "holidays" so I'll add this to their challenge. Happy Saturday!

sending holiday cheer cheer your way
Happy Tuesday my crafty friends. I'm teaching a holiday tag class tomorrow and instead of digging through the stash of many many tags I've already made, I'm making more... call me crazy. But I found my holiday papers (buried deep in a no man zone) and wanted to make a tag that used mostly white with a pop of patterened paper. Plus, I went digging through holiday stamps that I've (cough cough) never used... and pulled out the Flouishes and Avacado Arts sets for this tag. I added three different May Arts ribbons, distress the bottom of the top tag and used a glitter pen on the stamped bow. Done. Now, any one want to come over and help me cut out the tags times 10? And can any of you online friends, remind me which challenge this will work for? Simon Says Stamps is having an Anythign Goes... and below... in case anyone worried that my clean desk was going to stay clean... ha ha.

Happy Thanksgiving wine tag
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm confident you guys will see more of the PTI Uncorked set. Today's wine tag is for the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge "Thanksgiving". I went and did a bunch of really difficult research yesterday trying to try new wines to figure out which would go best with Thanksgiving, click here to see what I learned.

thanks card and tag
Last week I played along with the My Favorite Things sketch and won (wooo hooo!), so here's a virtual thanks, I'm sure that $20 gift card will end up costing me $50 with all the things I "need." Simon Says Stamp is having a kraft challenge, with a focus on Hero Arts goodies, so I used my Hero Arts background stamp and cut it into pieces! I've used the MFT tag die with the MFT heart die, plus the PTI thanks sentiment and some May Arts ribbon. To create the background I heat embossed the background with white embossing powder and then layered the squares (some raised and some flat). I used a SRM sticker for the faux stitching to add the vellum to the card.
Below I used the same PTI thanks die, but used some of the MFT tags and snowpiles dies, plus some WMS trees and some more May Arts ribbon. I was inspired by the new Tag Your It Challenge.

just wanted to espresso my thanks
It's been a crazy day and I just wanted to espresso my thanks, cannot wait to hop through the line up of fun crafty coffee themed projects on the National Coffee Day blog hop. I posted another project this morning and then I went all crazy and did a huge blog post for my work blog celebrating all things coffee. This card was inspired by the Tag You're It Challenge. And one more project for the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.
