glitter America

Last week's PTI Wednesday Challenge was glitter inlays and I've done it before and thought it would be a good project this morning and hello GLITTER mess.  Shedding isn't quite the right word choice for the amount of glitter that magically got everywhere.  So I promptly wrote in the card and stuffed it an envelope and mailed it off to a glitter fan.

Man, I'm falling off the blogging wagon.  Our 3 week adventure took some of the wind out of my sails and then I'm back and definitely crafting, but slightly too lazy (is that even a word for me?) to post the cards on my blog vs. my Instagram feed.  So, here are two cards... the first one for the MFT color challenge and the second one for the PTI Wednesday Challenge.  

Monday cards

Happy Monday.  My first card is for this week's PTI Make It Monday, negative dies, I used one of the pieces from the Mix and Mat set for the rectangles.  The tag is PTI but stamped with some WPlus9 stamps and finished with a piece of May Arts ribbon.   My second card is for CAS(E) this sketch.  And my final card was suppose to be for the PTI blog hop, but I forgot to finish the card and left town...but I used the MFT sketch Challenge.

Happy Monday crafty friends.  One card, two challenges.  Using the photo from Inspired By Challenge and the PTI alphabet stamp set for the PTI Make It Monday for this sentiment-centric card.  I paired the Happy with the word camper from a Impression Obsession sentiment by my friend Lindsay.  Excited to have another card for my Inn Town Campground camp store.

happy + new + year!  This sentiment is from a Waltzingmouse Stamp set I dug out for some trees... love it.  Playing along with the PTI Make It Monday A La Carte challenge, went back and did the glitter in lay challenge, always great to start the last day of the year with glitter everywhere, right?  I've got the perfect friend to send this to, so it's going in an envelope pronto.  I used the PTI Mix and Mat dies and a double sided banner die paired with a MFT wine bottle die.  I used some PTI papers for my wine label and colored the bottles with oxide inks.  Hope everyone rings in the new year with style, I'm super excited about a quiet evening at home!

Happy Tuesday!  A "belated" by my standards entry to this week's PTI Make It Monday, ombre sentiments.  I probably should've done a lighter grey for the "because", but it's subtle.  And my second card is for this week's CAS(E) this sketch, not often I manage to make a card with no stamping.  Hope everyone is surviving the pre-Christmas rush.

Happy Sunday crafty peeps.  I'm still trying to sort out my jet lag from my trip to Paris, funny how you think you're going, going, going and then you realize you're moving at half speed and falling asleep at the dinner table?  Anyhoo.... I finally cleaned up some of the mess from my crafting storm of tags and coffee cards.... this card is for the Altenew Inspiration Challenge year in review, I found inspiration from the colors in November's Challenge.  One of my dear friends had a brain tumor removed on Friday, so I'm trying to come up with as many positive feel better cards as I can.  And my second card is for this week's PTI Make It Monday, I'm going to find a photo of where I was Monday when the post went live since I'm normally a total dork and like to play along on Monday mornings (but Paris was a fine alternative).

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend.  Today's crafty shares... the first card is for the PTI Make It Monday, layers.  I added white on white on white with a bit of gold washi tape.  And I think this post will round out my playing along with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags, what fun to get deep into my tag stash.  The pink tag is inspired by Day 25.  The wine tag is inspired by Day 26.

Christmas Cheer

Happy Monday!  Playing along with this week's PTI Make It Monday, love the boldness of this technique (layered masking).  My only issue is that part of the residue from the masked dies is stuck to the card....  I tried to peel it off, but it didn't work.  So the card has a little more texture then I intended... the snowflake dies are PTI and the sentiment cheer is from PTI, the Christmas die is Hero Arts and I used two MFT dies.  And I've got more tags for Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas tag fun....

I heart coffee

Oh it's so hard to photograph a banner.... playing along with the PTI Make It Monday Challenge, the sentiment on the right says "A good day starts with a positive attitude and a great cup of coffee" which is going to be my motto for Monday! My second project is for the MFT Birthday Challenge.

Happy Monday!  One of the fun things for me with the PTI Create Along With Us is that I can go digging through my stash of products that I already own!  This card is a CASE of Laurie's card.  Wishing everyone a fabulous start to their week.

Happy Monday!  Today's PTI Make It Monday is to use packaging dies in cards and I've got a heathy number of tags, so I made this card to celebrate October.  My second card is for the Ellen Huston Challenge, it's a sketch this time around.  And my third card pairs the latest MFT sketch and color challenge.

Happy Monday!  I'm sitting in the front seat of our truck with a hot spot-- that's blogging with a dedication!  But two projects to share on this lovely Monday.  The first card combines the Where Creativity Meets C9 color challenge and the CAS(E) this sketch.  I am surprised by how much I like the final result.  I used all Concord & 9th stamps and three MFT dies.  My second project is for this week's PTI Make It Monday- uses patterned paper in your gift packaging.  That's an easy one!!  I added more layers then I normally would to this wintery tag.

hello... a little happy mail

hello Monday.  Playing along with this week's PTI Make It Monday-- faux gilded leaves.  I added a bit of color to the mix, fun to play with copper, gold, red and yellow- hello fall!  I paired the Lawn Fawn dies with PTI Mix and Mat die, stitched banner die, hello die, PTI sentiment and the PTI gold foil paper I've been hoarding in my stash.

Playing along with the PTI Create with us, inspired by this morning's Merry Mugs post, CASEing Michelle's card.  I combined the Lil Inker mug with a PTI sentiment, Mat Stack Die and PTI paper and card stock and hello die.  I guess I'm on a coffee streak over here in blogland... I'll get back to camping and an occasion flower one of these days.

Happy Monday!  I'm not sure I'll have a chance to play along with all the PTI Stampafaire fun, but here's one for Dawn's "Planting Your Garden", hard to see the stencil- but it was fun to pull out a set that I've had from PTI that I honestly don't think I've ever used.  My second card is for this week's PTI Make It Monday- glitter and my craft desk are never a winning combo... (I'm way too messy).

Happy Monday....  A couple of cards to start the week off on the right foot.  The top card is for the Where Creativity Meets C9 "Anything Goes" challenge-- rediscovered some Concord & 9th stencils in my stash and had fun....  The second card is for this week's PTI Make It Monday- I had a hard time getting my rubber background stamps to ink properly (tried a MFT geometric one first in white and then a Unity one in kraft ink), so I decided to channel that and use the Hero Arts newsprint background (which I never get to ink all the way in one go) and heat emboss it to add to the texture- so it's hard to see the added layer of the background stamps on the PTI flowers, but it's there....  And my third card is an attempt at the CAS(E) this sketch.....  all three of these cards put together still very much fall under the category of me talking to myself through cards....
