thank you

Happy Monday!  I'm sitting in the front seat of our truck with a hot spot-- that's blogging with a dedication!  But two projects to share on this lovely Monday.  The first card combines the Where Creativity Meets C9 color challenge and the CAS(E) this sketch.  I am surprised by how much I like the final result.  I used all Concord & 9th stamps and three MFT dies.  My second project is for this week's PTI Make It Monday- uses patterned paper in your gift packaging.  That's an easy one!!  I added more layers then I normally would to this wintery tag.

You've got this and more...

Happy Monday....  A couple of cards to start the week off on the right foot.  The top card is for the Where Creativity Meets C9 "Anything Goes" challenge-- rediscovered some Concord & 9th stencils in my stash and had fun....  The second card is for this week's PTI Make It Monday- I had a hard time getting my rubber background stamps to ink properly (tried a MFT geometric one first in white and then a Unity one in kraft ink), so I decided to channel that and use the Hero Arts newsprint background (which I never get to ink all the way in one go) and heat emboss it to add to the texture- so it's hard to see the added layer of the background stamps on the PTI flowers, but it's there....  And my third card is an attempt at the CAS(E) this sketch.....  all three of these cards put together still very much fall under the category of me talking to myself through cards....

two versions of a sketch

Hello...  Sundays.. it's a whirlwind in my world...  spent my day cleaning up a campground.  But, stopping... and wanted to share these two cards.  Both cards are for the MFT Sketch challenge.  The top card combines a PTI flower with MFT dies and a background stamp and a piece of May Arts ribbon.  The second card uses the Altenew Inspirational challenge for the colors (although my green is the wrong shade).  I paired Altenew stamps with MFT dies (including a fun background on the vellum with a stitching die) and another piece of May Arts ribbon.

And one final flower card... playing along with the Where Creativity Meets C9 "Anything Goes" with this card.  I used the Concord & 9th flower set with an Ellen Hutson sentiment.

Thanks for always being....

Happy Saturday crafty friends... I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog this morning with the top card-- seriously, the Kelly Purkey sentiment is so perfect.  I used MFT stamps and dies to play along with their color challenge.  And my second card, keeping with the coffee theme (yes I should go back to making camping cards), pairs the CAS(E) this Sketch and the Where Creativity Meets C9 (Anything Goes) challenge.  And my final card is for the CASology Sunbeam challenge.  I colored some embossing paste with a Tim Holtz stencil to create that look-- might try that again.

life happens after coffee... and more!

Happy Memorial Day crafty peeps.  I SURVIVED Memorial Day weekend...   If you follow along our campground on Instagram, I posted a photo with a caption of the number of campers (129 adults, 82 kids and 9 dogs).  So, I might be on my 3rd of cup of coffee today....    But the Coffee Loving Spring/Summer blog hop seriously brings me so much joy, so here I am plugging away with more cards.

This card is for today's PTI Make It Monday... I think flower or leaves would probably work better with this technique, but loved the idea of incorporating a staple into the sentiment.  Not my favorite card, but I'll get over it....

Playing with Ellen Hutson stamps and a MFT die for the stitching.

This card is for the PTI Transformation Tuesday, the original card is here.  I used many of the same goodies, but changed up the colors a bit and tried to make it look less holiday.

Can't go wrong with white on white with Unity stamps.

The Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge is "florals", so I added floral Basic Grey paper to my card.

And since I had the Concord & 9th set out, I made a tag....

thanks and more

Happy Sunday.  I was inspired by the Muse Challenge and then ended up basically remaking this card, but opted to heat emboss the flower with vellum for a softer look.  It also works for the Where Creativity Meets C9 sketch.  My second project is too busy for me, but sometimes it's good for me to stretch myself.  I'm playing along with the MFT Birthday Challenge, make an interactive gift card holder.

thank you for you and congrats

My first card is for the new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge, a sketch.  I went for simple and scored the base for the background.  I combined the Concord & 9th flower stamp with a PTI sentiment.  My butterfly card is inspired by Melissa's card on the latest PTI release, so I'm playing along with the Create Along Us Challenge.  Happy Monday crafty peeps, I'm off to tackle another full week of to dos.

you've got this

Hello!  I went skiing today and neglected so many of my to dos, it was lovely!  The top card is for the MFT Sketch and Birthday Project challenges.  I borrowed my crafty friend's MFT dies to make this card.  The two cards below are for the Where Creativity Meets C9 watercolor challenge.

Happy Birthday and flowers...

Happy Tuesday crafty peeps!  I am sneaking in with a few hours to go for the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, patterned paper.  I should use more.....  And one more card for the Ellen Huston Mix It Up Challenge, using my first Concord & 9th set (so I can play along with Where Creativity Meets C9).  Right-o... back to work I go.

We're more than just friends...

This month Where Creativity Meets C9 challenges you to use your fist Concord & 9th set, I think I got these two stamps in the same order....  I made this card this morning before the gym and gave it to my crafty work out buddy....  Her husband would probably love to send me the bill for all the enabling I have done for her crafty addiction.

Thinking of you....

TGIF...  let's take a break from Christmas crafts and coffee overload...  My mom has asked for some birthday and thank you cards for a gift, so I made these three cards, all with Concord & 9th goodies (thanks Where Creativity Meets C9 for the anything goes challenge).  My final card uses inspiration from the Ellen Huston Pin Inspired Challenge.

No ordinary girl... more coffee!

No ordinary girl...  When Ellen Hutson had her birthday party I picked up a few retiring Pink Fresh sentiments, and seriously, this one had my name on it.  I am such a fan of white on white... so this card combines a SugarPea Designs coffee cup, a MFT tag, Sizzix embossing folder, PTI snowflake.  I'm going to enter it in the SugarPea Design's blog anything goes challenge.  Scroll down for today's installment of the Winter Coffee Lovers bloghop overload.  I'm sorry I'm "late"-- I made all these cards about 10 hours ago, but got caught up working.  (Check out the awesome local craft fair I went to today).

I made several cards with the CAS(E) this sketch in mind.

This card uses a Concord & 9th set for the background, so I'm going to enter it in the Where Creativity Met C9, I'm not sure if I'd say it's the focus of the card... but I'll enter it nonetheless.
