PDC colors Hello

Many of you know that I'm currently on a big road trip around New Zealand in a campervan with my family. If you read this blog, you probably also know that I have a paper addiction problem. I was wondering how I was going to cope going on a trip where the space is so limited that I didn't get to bring along any crafting supplies. Want to know one of my solutions? Mail envelopes of craft goodies to pit stops along the way. Today's crafting pit stop was my dear friend Vanda's house in Dunedin. Her youngest son is a card enthusiast, so he's been waiting, very impatiently for me to arrive, eyeing the bag of goodies and waiting for our card date. I've done the Play Date Cafe color challenges for months now and I figured since there's an hour to spare on this week's deadline that I'd squeeze in a card. Once again, I love the way the color challenge has made me use colors I wouldn't think of putting together, and I even like the final product!

Materials: Hero Arts What's Perking coffee pot, Lawn Fawn Just My Type sentiment, Hero Arts swirly dots, misc. card stock scraps

So cute, and so clean and simple, which in my book makes this a great card.
