Hoping you're fully recovered soon

 The inside of the card.

One of my gym buddies broke her leg vaccuming- how awful can that be? So our workout group has decided to send her a card, and I sold them on my services.  I had been trying to come up with a use for this week's Play Date Cafe colors, and ladies there are a few random pieces of other attempts sitting in my scraps drawer, but decided to stick to my CAS style and limit the color.  And while I was doing CAS I thought I'd retry this week's CAS-ual Fridays "buttons and twine".  So I've gone for the button throw pillow with Twinery lilliac twine accent.  Lawnscaping Challenge is polka dots and yes, I know I'm missing a Lawn Fawn stamp on this card, but who can resist a polka dot couch?  Lily Pad Cards is having an embossing challenge this month and I love the texture the swiss dots adds to this card.

This was attempt one for the card for the girlfriend, I recycled one of these cards (which I'd sold to my grandma and then she sent to me!) and added a new sentiment.  But since Tiffany Doodles and ABC Design Blog are celebrating flowers this month, I'll add this card to those challenges.  I think I'll send the card back to my grandma.

Materials: First card: PTI On My Couch, PTI On My Couch Additions, PTI Mat Stack 1, Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder, PTI Mat Stack 1 die, Penny something patterned paper, Fiskars corner rounder, Core'dinations Sugar & Spice purple card stock, Twinery Lillac twine, Crafty solutions buttons

Second Card: Patterned paper, Stampendous thinking of you, Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 8, water color pencils, Versafine black ink

Super fun CAS cards. The buttons are genious. And you do not have to use Lawn Fawn stamps to play at Lawnscaping. We're happy to have you join in with us at the challenge :)

That sofa card is too, TOO funny!! What a great get well card. You rocked the challenges. I hope your friend "recovers" soon. There aren't any good ways to break one's leg, but while vacuuming has got to rank as one of the worst. Ouch!! Who knew that household chores could be so hazardous. I'm gonna steer clear. :)

Do send the card back to your Grandma...a friend and I did that for with a card for several years until it was all filled up with wonderful memories and sweet greetings.
