Celebrate the Day

This week's CAS-ual Fridays is all about color blocking, something I love, but haven't incorporated much into my cards.  So with a nod towards Julie and Michele, I'm using this week's Play Date Cafe colors for my card.  Virginia's got a challenge to be inspired by something and then create a card, for today's card I used Julie's card as my jumping off point.  Yvonne's "Do More With Less" Challenge at the moment is for embossing and I love the way the embossing adds texture to this card.  And to leave with you a bit of enabling, if you like this frame, it's currently on sale at Two Peas in a Bucket.

Materials: Hero Arts Three Floral Frames, Hero Arts Cling Two sentiment, Core'dinations sugar and spice card stock, black card stock, white card stock and water color paper, Versafine black ink,  Cuttlebug Swiss dots and polka dots embossing folders, natural fiber from Jen
