Father's Day Cards

Off the Wall Craftiness colors for this card, which was basically a redo of this card (which I meant to sell to my gym buddy and accidentally left it at work and my coworker bought it while I was out of town, so I had to remake the card.)

This one isn't for a challenge, but since Nevada City hosts a huge bike race every year on Father's Day I figured I should make a card that represents it... we'll see if someone decides to buy it, if not I'll keep it and give it to my husband when he gets home from his road trip with the boys (see photo below).

And lastly, since I've been left home alone I'm going to share what has become of my craft desk, perhaps if I share it with you guys you can help motivate me to clean it up, just a tiny bit.... I'm not clean, never will be, but it's getting a bit out of control.

Materials:  Hero Arts Three Floral Frames, WPlus9 Woodgrain Silhouette sentiment, Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder,  twine from Jen, Core'dinations brown card stock, water color pencils, Versafine black ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Antique Linen

Second card: Mystery bicycle stamp, Tim Holtz Distress Faded Jeans ink, WPlus9 Woodgrain Silhouette sentiment, Impression Obsession background stamp, PTI kraft card stock, vellum, Fiskars corner rounder, Making Memories black eyelets, Scor pad,

Oh, how funny that your coworker bought one your cards that was already sold! I love the remake and your bike card is fabulous! I love the swirly background and the blue bike on kraft. The vellum panel is super, too. Heck, if you can make great cards like these on a desk like that, leave it messy! Oops, I was supposed to encourage you to clean it up, right? ;D

I'll clean my desk if you clean yours. I think I will do just that, kind of slow today anyway! Great cards, the idea of making a bike one is a perfect marketing tool.

Great FD cards - I bet the recipients loved them!! I LOVE the pic of you work area - I am the complete opposite when it comes to my craft desk. The rest of my house thought, that's a different story! :)

Your craft desk is beginning to look like my writing desk, but you've still got a wee way to go (-:

Love your cards, Erin! I think it is great that dad is spending time camping with the boys. As for your desk, mine gets that way and I clean it up when I can't find anything. Have fun!

My whole house looks like your desk and about 500 boxes added to that still to be opened and a place to call home. Move going way slow! Great job on the OTWC colors!

Your bicycle card is just fabulous!!! Love the color on kraft!Gorgeous background!
My desk looks a lot like yours. But I feel, when it gets too much, it stands in the way of my creative process. So every now and then, I clean up (a bit). ;)

If only I had no idea what you're talking about in regards to messy craft spaces. :) I'm afraid my organization has been stalled a bit since I started making cards again. I always know I to get a handle on it when I start wasting loads of time looking for things. :)
