Happy Birthday cards

Are you ladies like me and make all sorts of cards and sometimes don't actually send cards to the people you were thinking of when you made the card?  I should be making dozens of birthday cards around here, and mailing them, so happy to say I'm one step closer today, but have just realized I missed my nephew's 2nd birthday, oops.  I've used this week's ColourQ colors and the Walztingmouse Sketch challenge.  And I think these fun banners work well for the Moxie Fab World Beautiful Borders challenge.  Since I'm late for my nephew might as well be early for my sister-in-law, who's birthday card was created with the Color Cue colors I tried to use yesterday.  Right, off to go address the envelope....

Materials: 1st card: Waltzingmouse Stamps Say It With Style sentiment, Unity burlap background, PTI double sided banner die, PTI Limitless Layers die, EK Success circle punch, Core'dinations card stock, Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, Versafine black ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink faded jeans

2nd card: WPlus9 Woodgrain Silhouette woodgrain and flowers,  Wplus9 Spring Post sentiment, PTI Mat Stack 4 die, Tim Holtz Ornamental die, PTI double sided banner die, PTI kraft card stock, Core'dinations card stock, Brillance Moonshine ink, Tim Holtz Distress ink fired brick and shabby shutters

Such cool texture on your WMSC card! And that color scheme is always wonderful together! The woodgrain on the second card is just fabulous, too!

I love what you did with the ColourQ card, Erin! The texture is fabulous, like your offset design as well. Thanks for joining us at the ColourQ this week.

Oh, I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone!! I can make a card for someone special months in advance, and then completely miss their special day. Oops!! It's not that I forget necessarily--it's usually more that I underestimate how long it will take to get it ready to mail and then get myself to the P.O. to do so. Trying to get better!!

Love these cards for today--especially that second one. Wow, you nailed those pretty colors! And I love combo of diecuts you used. Great framing!
