2 birthday cards

I needed to make 2 birthday cards for an order, the directions were "husband and 8 year old daughter"- so this is what I came up with.  I like the top one... I inked the woodgrain embossing folder with distress ink to give it the rustic feel, PTI sentiment, Lil Inker stitched mats and yummy May Arts ribbon, and done!  I love simple cards.

This one uses the Make It Monday challenge of using smaller frames to create larger frame, PTI is having a "pick whatever Make it Monday" challenge you want this week.  Nice to check the card order off the to do list, I also made four of these chair cards (the second one), but I rushed out the door to get to the post office minutes before it closed and didn't take a photo (I made 4 exactly the same card, imagine that, I never do that!).  Hope everyone has a fabulous New Year's weekend...

These turned out great & I'm so glad 'mass producing' didn't pain you too much! ;)
