Card Recognition

Congrats

It's the PTI Blog Hop time and this month Nichole has challenged us to use black as a backdrop.  I had a scrap of black card stock that I'd accidentally spilled a bunch of embossing powder all over, so it led inspiration for a starry night.

I used the PTI Man & Wife die, I die cut her dress out of vellum and added an accent of May Arts silk (I have obviously been watching too many episodes of Project Runway).  I used the PTI Background Basics Stripes and embossed them in silver and added a WMS sentiment.  To add a bit more sparkle to my night sky I spritzed the black card stock with perfect pearls and Tattered Angels mist and added a few dots with a glitter pen.  Love the elegant feel to this card...

I started humming "starry, starry night" when I saw your card. It is so elegant. I love the glittery stripes and the shimmery look to the upper part of your card. It would make a beautiful (and sophisticated) bridal shower card.
