Hello, a few cards

Hello!  Hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas Day.  Our family was on call for our respective businesses, so we had a delightful day at home with just the 4 of us.  So, I got a little crafty time in... which is truthfully just what I needed.  My first card is for this month's PTI Blog hop, the inspiration photo had me digging for something that was inspired by the embroidery hoop and found the above Hero Arts frame (which who knows when I last used it) and then I went digging some more and found the lovey PTI sentiment (which I also can't remember when I last used).  So fun to rediscover goodies I already had. 

This card is for the MFT Birthday card challenge, add sparkle.

This is for the Altenew Year In Review challenge, using the colors of January for my inspiration.

And finally, another card for Laurel's Inspired By Challenge, found this sled while digging through my scraps, one of my issues with this PTI set is that it's hard to get an even stamping, so a little collage and nod to my coffee centric self and we're good to go.

Playing along with this month's PTI Blog Hop, oh pumpkins....  I was inspired by Amy's card yesterday over on Lil Inker Blog and then pulled our some not so new PTI goodies to make the rest of the fall themed thank you card.

Excited to be playing along with this month's Papertrey Ink Blog hop, can you see my where I got my inspiration?  There was some Make It Monday way back when that talked about making your own plaid, so I used the PTI stamps to create this look...

3 coffee cards

Life begins after coffee.... yes ma'am.  I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with these three cards, all inspired by various challenges.  The first card uses the sketch from Fusion Card Challenge.  The second card is for the August PTI Blog Hop and the third card is for the Ellen Huston August Challenge-- my first time playing with alcohol inks.

Happy Monday!  Playing along with this month's PTI Blog Hop, I took the rainbow inspiration and made this background for another camping card.  I'll probably be back a bit later with the Make It Monday card... (or maybe tomorrow?).

we don't camp we glamp

TGIF!  Okay, post #2... playing along with the PTI Blog Hop, because some of you may have figured out that my husband and I own a campground (and I gotta get to work, hello Memorial Day weekend!).   So, when I'm not making coffee cards, I love making camping themed cards, so this month's PTI Inspirational challenge totally had my name on it!  I used all PTI goodies, with the exception of the sentiment on the card.  And since I'm playing along with the PTI challenges, below is my card for this week's Make It Monday, I had to add coffee for the mega Spring/Summer Coffee Loving Card blog hop.

Good morning!  Playing along with the PTI Blog hop and the Make it Monday Challenge with this coffee thanks card.  Love the way the color pops.  And my second card is for this week's MFT Sketch Challenge, I used the MFT birthday sentiment background stamp and then heat embossed it and played with some distress oxide inks.  I was trying to figure out what background I wanted and after multiple embossed backgrounds (dots, stripes), I went for the MFT die that creates a fun simple stitching background.

Thanks.... playing along with the Papertrey Ink monthly blog hop.  I am going to admit that I'm not sure I love this card, not enough white for me?  But as always I enjoy the challenge and this card got me to dig out some vintage PTI (the circle stamp on the white card stock is one of my first PTI purchases).  Looking forward to seeing how other folks used the inspirational photo.  

Love you more than jelly beans

Hello!  Welcome to the February Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, this month's inspiration photo has an Easter theme and I looked and I tried and pulled out all sorts of stamps (including Mailbox Greetings one of my first PTI sets b/c it has grass in the set) and nothing worked.  So I'm using this Reverse Confetti bunny and some PTI Mix and Match dies for my CAS card.  The funny thing about this sentiment-- I don't like jelly beans.  We have them on the desk at the Outside Inn and for years people are like, "How can you work with a bowl full of jelly beans in front of you?"  And I'd just reply that I'd rather get my calories from chocolate chip cookies.  My second card is for the February Altenew Inspiration Challenge.  I upcycled a letterpress menu-- I was looking for a nice thick piece of cardstock and have a stash of leftovers from my husband's cousin's work.  But I didn't want the bride & groom to know I had transformed their expensive menu, so with a little bit of stamping, coloring and some vellum you can barely tell what amazing food they ate 3 years ago.

A Party without a Cake tag

A super simple tag today to play along with this month's PTI Monthly hop, I was inspired by the blue birthday hat with the gold in the gold.  I used the PTI tag, a Reverse Confetti hat, some glitter tape and May Arts ribbon for my tag.

Happy Saturday!  I have found the more things going on in my life, the more time I sneak into my craft room to tinker... somehow it creates a bit more balance in the whirlwind of things to do.  So with that in mind, here are three more projects.  The first card is for the November PTI Blog Hop....  I went for a few parts of the inspiration from the photo above.  My second card is for the CASology challenge, the word is "cheer" and of course my mind went to cheers and wine (plus Simon Says Wednesday Challenge of food/drink)..... and because I pulled out the Reverse Confetti set I decided to ink it up again for their sketch challenge.

I'm here for you and more...

Hello!  I've got lots of goodies to share...  the first card is for the current MFT Sketch Challenge, I used the flower stamp and turned it into a fall tree...  I probably would've continued the stamping up further if I were to redo the card... but I'm all for making things and moving on.  The second card is for the SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge.  The third card is for the PTI Blog Hop- can't believe I spaced the timing on that one this morning, oops.  And the final project, a tag, is for the Ellen Hutson Pin Inspired Challenge.  Right-o, back to work.
