more Valentine's Day Cards

I'm still working on a card order for some Valentine's Day cards (and after I finish those I have to come up with the samples for my upcoming Valentine's Day card class), so love is in the air!  The top card was inspired by the latest PTI release with the figure of speech die, I thought, hey I have a wood die cut like that thanks to my friend Lynn.  I added some cork to the background, a SRM sticker sentiment, some PTI packaging, Hero Arts tweed background and tied the card up with some May Arts silk ribbon.  I think it's nice to have a bit more of a masculine feel to a few Valentine's Day cards.

The card below was inspired by Chupa's amazing creation, while I'm not normally a collage style kinda gal, I thought it would be fun to add a few of the elements.  So the card started off with the PTI hexagon cover plate as a stencil (adding some modeling creme, since I don't have any white embossing paste), the Top Dog Dies heart doily die, PTI heart tag die out of burlap, Wplus9 sentiment, dogwood stamps from (eek, can't remember) and some sequins from my friend Maria.

And tonight I'm teaching a blogging class in town on business blogging, so really what I should be doing is getting examples, slides and visuals ready for that....
