Happy Monday morning. My day did not start off on the right foot and when I sat down to see if I could play along with the PTI Make It Monday Challenge I hit a road block as I couldn't find a stamp I thought would work for the diamond wallpaper challenge. So I threw the towel in, made breakfast, got ready for work, received my friend who works from home and had a power outage and then I solved the stamp problem--- I used the letter X from the Headline Alphabet set, added a dot from Rosie Posie, a coffee mug from Warm Happiness and a sentiment from Tiny Tags. I'm completely over the moon with the new colors of May Arts silk ribbon. I addition I used a doily from work (with a bit of distress ink) and cut a recycled take out coffee holder with the PTI double sided banner die and colored my coffee cup with watercolor pencils. And since I missed my 7am crafty speed race window, I'm posting this from work and accepting that I still made the first 10 crafters (I know, call me crazy). And here's to hoping the rest of the day goes fabulously.....

Wow! Here's to being inventive and creative! I was in the same boat - I don't really collect background stamps either. Anyway you did a great job!
OMG! I would've never thought to use the X in an alphabet stamp set. How creative! Love it! Thanks for participating in this week's Make It Monday!
