It's Moving Time

Instead of getting organized for moving, I'm busy over here procrastinating and making cards about moving. This card uses Stacey's Curtain Call and the What If Wednesday sketch. The Shabby Tea Room has a color/house challenge this week and I chose the house part. Crafty Cardmakers is spotlighting punches. Simons Says Stamp is doing songs and I think this one works well for "I like to Move It, Move It" by Will.I.Am, I assume you get the connection?

Materials: Kathy Martin digital house stamp, PTI sentiment, Stampin Up black ink, Stampin Up Baja Breeze designer paper, Anna Griffin patterned paper, Baja Breeze Stampin Up card stock, Night of Navy Stampin Up card stock, Fiskars tag punch

Coffee in bed

Look, yet another coffee card... Can someone do a challenge with coffee as the theme? This photo makes me think of my mother, the queen of bed linens. I had some of the patterned paper I used last week for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger floating around on my messy craft desk and I thought it worked well for these colors. I would love to lounge in this bed and drink a cup of coffee and read a book. This photo is from The Shabby Tea Room. Thanks lady for helping me make yet another coffee card.

Materials: Dawn Houser for Inkadinkado coffee stamp, stripped paper from my stash, red card stock, Stampin Up chocolate chip card stock, vellum, Fiskars scalloped cutter, cream card stock

Sweetie Heart Card

I have run out of white card stock and am having to dig deep into my color wheel to make cardstock like this bright pink work for my palette. I'm combing the Card Patterns sketch and the Shabby Tea Room challenges.

Cupcake cards

I was making a birthday present for a little girl and used the last of the cupcakes I cut out for this cute card. I think I'll use this one as her birthday card (the present is personalized cards, but shhh, don't tell her or her mother- it's a surprise!). And since I used the last of the pink polka dot paper I'll enter this in the Shabby Tea Room challenge, since there's an hour left in this week's challenge!

Shabby Tea Room- Pink Polka Dots

I am such a sucker for these lovely online competitions, today's is for the Shabby Tea Room. I thought I'd take the day off today, but when I saw Lucy's gorgeous card I decided that perhaps I should just whip up a cute pink polka tea card. I knew just the person to send it to. I'm confident she'll appreciate it when she opens it up tomorrow.
